This is an absolutely beautiful boutique hotel with superlative service. If you like the typical hotel designs with false ceiling, random spot lights, brass hardware and short pile carpet, this is not for you. But if you appreciate quiet, subtle, tasteful and considered design, you won’t be disappointed. Every corner you turn, you will find a lovely piece of furniture, art piece or pleasant view of the outside. The room we had was spacious, relaxing and comes with a balcony. We didn’t even notice there was no tv until now. The building is flanked by a small tea field on one side and bamboo and trees on the other. The tea house is a serene spot for reading or sampling local teas. Service from the complimentary pick up (or drop off) car service to restaurant wait staff is top quality. Breakfast is Chinese style but very tasty with many local specialties. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant (where breakfast is also served) and it was fantastic. There is an onsite shop and a gallery with coveted offerings. Would love to return and spend more time here to detox.

This hotel is quite amazing! I and my partner had a wonderful vacation here and everything was perfect! I’ve recommended Lakefort to many friends and I hope this hotel is going to be better and better:) I’ll come here very soon.

The front desk staff and the guest service attendants FanFan provided excellent service. It was great experience and friendly staff and environment I highly recommend it

I came for an event and this hotel was so much more luxurious than I expected. Rooms were clean and beautiful. The best part was the front desk staff though. I didn’t get the name of the desk manager when I arrived but he was so friendly and efficient, and his English was great. At check out I chatted a bit with Warren at the desk. He was also friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone headed to Wuxi

The service was great as Yolo (管家）and the guy staff helped us with a mini guided program plan though it was only a one night stay. My favorites program were the 打铁花/放天灯 and drones show finale (last 2 shows)。 Our package came with a room for 3 pax, breakfast, free entry tickets to 拈花湾 as the hotel is located inside the scenic spot, round trip hotel transfer from 拈花湾南门入口处using EV, 30 mins free sound bath session, and free 汉服but need to pay for makeup so we gave it a miss. Hotel’s Location is in the heart of the zen town, so it’s very convenient. However, the room is not super clean and not soundproof but the balcony view is great and the amenities are provided. It’s very much a 4 star boutique “inn”. It’s a good choice to stay in 究竟客栈!
