I recently stayed at The Aviary Hotel in Siem Reap for 7 nights (Kingfisher Deluxe Room), and it was an overall exceptional experience. Location: The hotel's location is unbeatable. Just a short walk to Pub Street, local markets, and the riverfront. This made exploring the city easy without relying on Tuk Tuks for every trip. Amenities: The pool area is the highlight, with plenty of sun loungers and a relaxing vibe. The Gym, while functional, is quite small and could use some upgrades. Common areas and the lobby are beautifully designed with lush greenery, creating a tranquill atmosphere in a busy part of the town. Room & Comfort: The Kingfisher Deluxe room was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was medium-firm with crisp, clean, sheets, and the towels were satisfactory. One quick note worth mentioning: the toilet is detached from the main bathroom, so you would need to walk across the room to wash your hands. An unusual layout, but manageable. The room would also benefit from a full-length mirror nearby the entrance for those quick fit checks. Service: This is where the Aviary truly shines. The staff from the front desk to housekeeping were outstanding. Special Thanks to Bunron, Samanng, Soury, Vanda, Tola, and especially Miss B. Saren, who went above and beyond to resolve a tricky situation involving a 'lost' phone. Her professionalism and care made a lasting impression. Value: At $100-150 a night, the pricing aligned with other 4-star hotels in the area. What elevates this property to a true 4-star experience is the exceptional service and overall ambiance. Conclusions: The Aviary Hotel offers a perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and hospitality. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siem Reap.

The hotel was exceptional! Cosy, spacious and clean, the highlight, however, has to be the extraordinary service provided by the staff, who always went the extra mile to ensure that we had a pleasant stay— a huge shoutout to Limon-Poe Tea, Sotha and Sokhunthea and many other staff for their exceptional care. The spa at the hotel was fantastic and the restaurant catered for vegetarian dietary options as well.

The room felt airy and generously sized, soft lighting, and a fresh, clean scent that made it immediately inviting. The staff were warm and attentive, greeting guests with genuine smiles and making early check-in possible as soon as rooms were available. The location was hard to beat, right in the middle of a lively area packed with restaurants, cafés, bars, shops, and banks just steps away. We only had a difficulities to connect with the hotel Wi-Fi during our stay.

Situated in a convenient location near Angkor Wat the hotel's surroundings added to the overall appeal. Whether exploring the nearby centres or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll, the accessibility was a definite plus. Breakfast was a culinary delight. The hotel offered a diverse menu with delectable dishes and drinks. I highly recommend trying the Khmer Options – a true gastronomic highlight. What truly stood out was the overall atmosphere of the hotel. The seamless blend of elegance and comfort created an inviting ambiance. The staff's dedication to ensuring a positive guest experience was evident throughout my stay. Considering the superb service, luxurious accommodations, and excellent breakfast, I believe Mera Residence offers exceptional value for money. Without a doubt, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers seeking a memorable and enjoyable stay. In conclusion, my time at Mera Hotel and its Staff experience was nothing short of perfect.
