The owner/ host is very friendly. Very nice place to stay. location is Just 3 mins moto bike ride distance from the city center. The host offer pick up and drop off from ferry free of charge. The thing I like to most is you can rent the e-moto bike at their hotel but suggest to make request early as so many residents will do the same. The room is clean, check-in is quick and provide very clear staying instruction. They have a special rest section which is open 24 hrs and offer to all residents.

Got a free upgrade of my room. Staff is very quiet but very helpful when asked. You just need to be more proactive. Room is very big. Hotel is walking distance to shanwai bus station which is the terminal of the bus station. From there, you can take the your bus or go somewhere else. Hotel also close to few eatery. Breakfast is nice. I like the porridge. Toilet ventilation can be further improve. But since in staying alone, it's not much of a problem to me.

The location is quite a challenge. A nice place if you love to be away from the hustles and bustles,. You would need to have a car as there's no public transportation available on the island. There's a cafe but only breakfast is served - a Very simple breakfast.

Overall clean and comfortable. Breakfast is OK.

I had booked the room facing the mountain view but it was not given. I was not aware that it was wrong as I checked in late at night and also as a tourist, I would not know the facing. I had to ask for a change the following day. The room can only be released at the end of the day. Should not I get a refund? Why was the room not reserved? As the hotel is away from the town, the hotel should consider providing free city and airport shuttles. Hotel is nice to provide free beverages and the vinegar drink is quite refreshing. We quite enjoyed the takeaway Cantonese porridge when breakfast food was not available on our last day.

Its location, price and helpful staff were the plus points. Suitable for old tourists travelling in groups, but let down by families with out of control children, and some middle aged men who like to argue aloud in the early hours (beyond the resistance of my ear plugs anyway)! The breakfast was bland, and monotonous, the room furnishings old and not always working, and running out of provisions (i.e. hotel slippers albeit they are too small for US / European sizes).

Convenient location. Friendly people. The room was average but serves a good purpose for just sleeping in before exploring the island. The picture is when you are standing in front of the hotel, back against the reception and looking to the right. Happy days. 🥰
