"I had a wonderful experience at this hotel and cannot recommend it enough. Everything was fantastic from start to finish. The highlight of my stay was definitely the owner; she is incredibly kind and helpful. She went above and beyond to assist me in renting an electric scooter, which made exploring the area so much easier. The property was spotlessly clean, and the location is very convenient. There is a convenience store just a 2-minute walk away, which was very handy. If you are looking for a great place to stay with top-notch service, this is it."

"I had a really pleasant stay at Kivala Hostel. The place was very clean and well looked after, especially the bathrooms and sleeping areas, which made a big difference for a hostel. The hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with, and the check-in process was smooth. The location is quiet and peaceful, which I personally liked, though it’s a little away from the main busy areas — something to keep in mind if you want everything right outside your door. The common areas were comfortable and practical, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and respectful rather than noisy or chaotic. Overall, it’s great value for money and a solid choice if you want a clean, comfortable, and relaxed place to stay in Kinmen. I’d happily stay here again."

The guesthouse is tucked away in a peaceful suburban corner - you can feel all the personality of its current owners and of those who lived there before. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was staying in a home: there’s a shared kitchen, laundry, and living rooms, plenty of parking, and more importantly - a snack bar with a water dispensing machine. Phoebe and Jacob went above and beyond: despite having busy lives to ensure my trip ran smoothly. They organised transport, chatted easily in English, and made me feel like a valued guest. You will want some form of transportation to get into the main town and explore around Kinmen. I loved it so much I extended my stay - no doubt I’ll stay there again.

Nnidylu雖然沒有看到老闆或店家，給五星好評，完成一次滷蛋，抽到戰地明信片，但是也不知道明信片在哪裡。不過整體居住起來非常乾淨，也非常的有文化的感覺。 感受到了金門的風景，跟一般的住宿完全不一樣，大家可以來體驗一下。 房間有套房式，也有背包客式混住型。 開車的路線繞了老半天，才進到住宿前的大廣場（可以停車），建議可以製作路標或是線上的電子地圖看開車的人怎麼開進去。我們開車進去的時候迷路繞了很久（當然騎摩托車的人直接鑽進去就好，就不會這麼麻煩），出來的時候進來也迷路繞了很久，哈哈😂不過也是很有趣的經驗。其他一切都很棒。👍

PPang JStaying at Jingcheng Home Stay was perfect for us. Since Kinmen is a very small town and our family went there especially to experience its historic heritage. The wife of the owner of Jingcheng, Ms Xie  was extremely helpful on our first day as she took us around town for a short tour and helped us to ascertain the local tour bus routes. This saved us a lot of time and hassles in the following day. And she helped us to call a taxi ahead of time for our departure to the ferry pier. I recommend Jingcheng  very much for those who do not mind home stay.

Cleanliness & facilities: Guests generally mention that the rooms are clean and comfortable, with free Wi-Fi and basic amenities like air-conditioning, a fridge, and reliable water. It’s not a luxury place — think simple yet functional.  One recommended feature is that it offers free airport transfer (with prior notice), which is handy if you’re flying into Kinmen.  Service & atmosphere: Reviews note that the host was welcoming and helpful, especially if you’re a solo traveler. Multiple guests talked about a smooth check-in and staff who were happy to share tips about the island or help with directions.  It’s described as a nice youth hostel vibe, with shared spaces and a relaxed feel — good for meeting other travelers if you’re not in a hurry to disappear into your room. ผผู้เข้าพักI had booked the room facing the mountain view but it was not given. I was not aware that it was wrong as I checked in late at night and also as a tourist, I would not know the facing. I had to ask for a change the following day. The room can only be released at the end of the day. Should not I get a refund? Why was the room not reserved? As the hotel is away from the town, the hotel should consider providing free city and airport shuttles. Hotel is nice to provide free beverages and the vinegar drink is quite refreshing. We quite enjoyed the takeaway Cantonese porridge when breakfast food was not available on our last day.
