interesting hotel in the iconic Elbphilarmonie building. Westin always offer a great experience for its design. I was assigned to a room, which faces the other building directly. I can see the other rooms from 10m distance, not really ideal. Daylights are very limited due to the dense structure of the building. It was a good experience, but not my best one.

I appreciated the staff allowing an early checkin before the actual check in time. I got the room at a discounted price during some offer and room was was very neat and clean. There are lot of restaurants near by and its right next to Lidl incase you need anything. Only concern was the location itself. It's about 11-12 mins walking distance to Hamburg Central station and the neighbourhood itself did not feel very safe with lot of people loitering around. I did not face any issues as such but it just felt unsafe to walk on my own at late night. If you are looking for short stay with easy accessibility to public transport and train station etc, you can consider this. Overall it was a good experience to stay.

The location is good and next to the Hagenbeck zoo, also the hotel guests can have 20% off for the zoo park ticket. The hotel is with different animals Theme and different continents for different floors. Breakfast buffet is good with variety of choice.

Very warm welcome from the front desk staff. Helpful. Room is standard for business trips, close to bus stops that connects easily to sbahn stations. Also reaches the fish market directly by bus in the morning.

Mein absolutes Lieblingshotel.
