I loved this hotel and the staff. The bathroom was big, clean, and well appointed with large sink/counter, large shower, and even slippers. The bed is wonderful - comfortable with very nice bedding. Thank you to Ilaria for helping book our taxi back to the train station. Location is safe with a fun vibe. I regret we will miss the breakfast. Post COVID quality can vary from pre COVID. Not here! Beautiful building with character and elegance.

Only complin is WIFi very very weak signal and when you finnaly connect it keeps kicking you out

Dont know what happened this time this guys are ussualy very good however this stay was a disaster first the room they gave me was used
I entered and the soap was used there was half a bottle of water in the nightstand half used shampoo bottles in the shower bath robe was used as well, breakfast eggs were bitter looked old and tasted terrible the shower lesked all night a lot of water, it would close so kept running all night finally could get wifi to work in 3rd floor used all my roaming data as i was working, as i said dont know what happened as this hotel is usually very good however this time everything went wrong

A wonderful hotel on the main, pedestrian-only square of Sondrio. This is a GRAND hotel indeed. Beautiful, historic building. Our room was perfect. Bed linens were out of this world. Great breakfast. Staff was very helpful. The unexpected bonus is the significant display of early 20th C. sculpture by some of Italy's finest artists. This is a world-class museum collection. Not to be missed.

The grand hotel also has a small cafe outside but protected from weather and wind by glass walls that let you enjoy coffee or beer and other stuff with a view right in the town square. Great service and value.

Hotel bellissimo ed elegante in pieno centro in un palazzo storico ma perfettamente al passo con i tempi. Personale gentile e preparato, camere accoglienti e colazione molto valida. Davvero un ottimo soggiorno sotto tutti i punti di vista

Mi è piaciuto tutto. La camera bellissima, spaziosa e pratica. La cena sublime, lo staff di una gentilezza infinita, la colazione buona. La posizione ottima, centrale ed in piazza e, nonostante questo, non mi ha disturbato nessun rumore esterno.
