Albatros Hotel

This hotel was unfortunately a disappointment. It is located in a very dull area. There are no restaurants nearby. The ones in the area are neither pleasant nor offer good food. One must travel all the way to Syracuse to eat, either by car or paying for a taxi, which is very expensive. It would cost 35 euros one way for the four of us, and the car ride takes about 12 minutes. Moreover, the hotel is very run down. The rooms are worn out and feel unclean. The first room we got was not properly cleaned and had mold in the shower and a hair in the bed. We switched to a cleaner room, but it still wasn't the standard expected of a 4-star hotel. The hotel also does not have a restaurant, and breakfast consists of dry bread, cookies, fruit, and yogurt. Given that there are no nearby restaurants, it's odd that the hotel doesn't offer dinner or lunch. The pool area is okay. The pool is shallow but clean. Decent sun loungers, but no cushions. What is called a "kids' play area" is essentially just a small plastic house on a lawn, nothing more. The only positive is that the staff is very friendly and accommodating. They tried their best, but the facilities and the area, unfortunately, do not meet the standard.

The location and hotel were great! Very clean. Staff was welcoming. Isabella was fantastic! She loved our two little Yorkies!

Very quiet hotel, amazing breakfast and swimming pool, as long as you have a car this place is perfect fo Syracuse and places nearby. Room upstairs had great air conditioning and was very clean. Grocery store is a short drive from the hotel. Very good gelateria and pastries just before you get to the grocery store. Close by an archaelogical site

Comfortable big room and bathroom with great balcony. Clean and finally a hotel with a good bed. Big swimming pool, parking facilities good, breakfast reasonable. Staff very friendly. Only one disappointment that there was no facility to have something to eat in the evening. The hotel is next to a main road and there are no restaurants in the direct environment.

Was here with my family. Our special requests were all taken care of and the hospitality of our female host and the breakfast man was amazing. Thank you for making this trip extra special. We will certainly be back.

La colazione non era un granché , la peggiore che abbia provato in Sicilia , le camere discrete ma nulla di che, le asciugano pessime , pulizia della stanza non molto buona , per un 4 stelle mi aspettavo molto di meglio, ci sono margini di miglioramento bisogna solo volerlo

Abbiamo passato una notte in questo hotel ed e’ stata una bellissima esperienza . I gestori gentilissimi , la struttura ben tenuta la camera pulita prezzo giusto, insomma tutto positivo. Siracusa si raggiunge in pochi minuti e c è un parcheggio pubblico dove lasciare la macchina . Abbiamo avuto solo il problema di trovarlo con il nostro gps . Consiglio questo hotel senza ombra di dubbio. L hotel ha il parcheggio privato gratuito .

Ottimo hotel vicino Siracusa. Buona la pulizia delle camere e la professionalità del personale. Consiglio questo hotel soprattutto perché ha un parcheggio proprio gratuito. La struttura possiede una piscina esterna ma dato le condizioni del tempo sfavorevoli non ne abbiamo usufruito.

Les plus : - Amabilité à la réception : bons conseils...et le sourire (l'hotesse est très sympa) - chambre assez grande - piscine - grand parking Les moins : - emplacement : en dehors de la ville; nécessité d'une voiture - pas de restaurant mais le restaurant daffné situé à 3 minutes en voiture recommandé par l'hotel (très bon et pas trop cher; grand parking) - petit déjeuner pourrait être plus complet
