"Had a disabled access room, which was understandably big but very bare. Room 151; the TV remote - provide one with the back cover on it, as opposed to the batteries being exposed. I felt it very tight, that after the price we paid for this hotel that we are charged £12 for parking our car. That was not a good start for us, as I didn't expect something like that, particularly after the cost of stopping overnight which wasn't cheap. Breakfast was good. Overall, I won't be back as it did not justify the price charged for the stay."
"Although the hotel is a little tired it represents good value for money. The room was spacious and clean with Wi-Fi included. You have to ask if you want your room to be cleaned each day but I had no need for this. Extra tea, coffee and milk was available at the reception desk for you to help yourself. My room also had a small fridge but in several visits to the hotel I have never had this before, suggesting that I was upgraded. The main complaint is the price of drinks at the bar but there is a pub just over the public car park as well as cheap drinks in town."
"Fabulous stay at the Best Western Carlton in Blackpool. The staff could not have done more to help, and the lady on the front desk was so friendly and chatty. They helped immediately when they realised I had a pram, toddler and 2 bags and was alone - even changing our room to make things easier. Lovely people!
Only downside was the thin walls, meaning we could hear every word of the 4am argument in the room next door!!"
