WorldMark Seaside

Nice resort at the center of everything, easy walk to shops and restaurants. Beach is steps away. Surfs up! Makes a great spot for family get togethers or romantic getaway. Other nice Beach Towns near by.

We've been here before during Covid and didn't have to attend sales pitch (yes, call it what it is; not an enhancement presentation). Check in was like running a gauntlet. First stand in line for way too long to see a clerk in a very noisy lobgy, then be told to check in with someone else to get a parking pass to a room key controlled parking garage, who hands you off to a stong-arm concierge who won't take no for an answer when you decline to attend the so called presentation. After about 20 minutes of explaining why I wasn't interested, (having owned my timeshare weeks for over 25 years and attended many "presentations"), I finally gave in just to shut her up. They take a deposit on your credit card so you can't back out of attending. The information about what was to be covered and how long it would take was misrepresented, bordering on deceit. It was a sour way to start our stay. The presentation was exactly what we expected and did not need nor wanted to hear...a high pressure sales pitch for an over-priced product. A total waste of time for everybody. The "incentive" was misrepresented as well...they said they would return the week we exchanged to stay there. What we received was a week of off-season, bottom of the barrel stay that nobody else wanted resort selection, not an exchange week with RCI. The resort itself is right on the beach and most rooms have an oblique view of the ocean. The facilities are comfortable enough and clean. There are many good restaurants and activities in the area although definitely on the touristy side.

Nice resort, outdoor pool, outdoor hottub, game room, workout room. Clean and very quiet. You can't hear other guests when you are in your room. My family enjoyed our stay. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go.

Staying at WorldMark Seaside is amazing. The staff is attentive, the rooms are huge, and the location is amazing. Sleeping on the beds was like sleeping on a cloud. They have an indoor recreation room and gym. The outdoor pool is heated so it can be used all year round.

This resort is beautiful and right on the promenade. The pool and hot tubs are open year round and heated to very comfortable temperatures. We had a fantastic view of the ocean. The staff are very friendly and efficient.

This resort was right at the beach next to the Promenade. The resort had a great full size kitchen, fully stocked. It's also within walking distance of so many shops. There were some awesome restaurants nearby. You must get a clam chowder bread bowl.

The rooms very a nice size staff was helpful it was on the area in seaside Oregon. Walking distance to the parking and beach very clean room rooms and condo. Everything things worked. Would go back to resort

The resort did not have our reservation upon arrival. We had to stay someplace else for one night, so we missed out on part of our vacation, spending HOURS on the phone and texts dealing with RCI and Airbnb. The resort is on the beach, but most units do not face the ocean. Kids in the pool are very noisy, and the sound carries to the far corners of the resort.

Been with Worldmark 18 years. We booked four rooms with five families for a reunion. The place is typical Worldmark. Rooms were good. Didn't have a problem with bed. Facilities were great. Kids had a great time. Location was excellent. Worldmark staff was mostly accommodating. The only issue we had was the sales department! What a bunch knuckleheads. They charged us a fee up front when we checked in that we could get back if we go to the presentation. I saw no signage for this on reservation or in resort. I had four of the five families that were there attend the sales pitch. Two were very interested but the sales staff were unhelpful in securing this. They promised all of us a certain amount of credits with Worldmark. I asked the different sales staff on separate times if the credits were for Worldmark specifically and they said yes. The credits are ONLY for Wyndham and you get maybe one day at a Days Inn hotel. We were the only ones to receive them and after 10 calls over a month and no return calls, we gave up trying to get the credits for the other people that were there. We called who we were told was the director there and no return calls. We have tried several times to use the credits but were unsuccessful because no property is available. The rest of my family felt like this was a sham and wasted their time. Granted it didnt cost me anything but Wyndham loses out on a two sales. In the past, Worldmark has given a gift card which was easily used. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ATTENDING ANY SALES PITCH. I have sat through three others and have enjoyed the time, even added more points. I had a friend buy in to the timeshare in Oceanside. Wyndham lost an ally to time share by what I experienced at Seaside resort. The property is great but the sales staff are scam artist and incompetent. I have never been boldface lied to by sales people. I don’t believe it is legal to charge somebody if you DON’t attend a sale meeting. Maybe its legal in Oregon.
