"Reasonably priced universal hotel which provides early park admission. Room is comfortable. However, the room has poor sound proofing. There is constant vibration in the wall and one of the beds. The hairdryer was faulty and they took more than an hour after 4 calls for them to deliver a replacement. Front desk manager made it up with meal vouchers.
Nonetheless, it was a decent stay but disappointing in several aspects."
"The hotel was overall ok, decent value for a Universal Studios hotel. It's about a 5 minutes bus ride from Epic Universe. It allows early entry into the parks. The rooms still have a renovation smell. I personally don't like hotel rooms that don't have a door to the sink area, only a door to the shower and toilet. I don't know why they can't have a door to the sink area. The buses to EPIC from Terra Luna run less frequently than from other hotels. Two buses from other hotels show up for one bus from Terra Luna. We waited over half an hour for a bus."
"This is one of our favourite hotels anywhere. We took our entire three generation family there from the UK a couple of years ago and this year we effectively added a two day stay onto a two week villa rental vacation just so that we could revisit the hotel and play the golf course. We did have a few complaints about two things.
We visited the Italian restaurant’ Cala Bella’ and whilst we enjoyed most of our starters we didn’t really enjoy our main courses with the food feeling pre prepared and warmed up rather than fresh. We sent some back and there was no quibble about taking these off the bill but it was a disappointing dining experience. For that money in a top class hotel everything should be freshly prepared
We felt that some of the charges were excessive, a 20% service charge on a $30 self serve breakfast buffet is scandalous . Similarly $32/day for self parking felt excessive.
This was our third visit to this hotel- will there be a fourth ?"
