"My third time staying here! Every time I visit Brighton, this is my go-to hotel. Excellent location with beautiful sea views, close to the beach, and surrounded by lots of restaurants. The price is very reasonable too. The only issue this time was the AC being upgraded during a heatwave. They provided a fan, but it was still quite hot. Still, I’ll definitely stay here again next time!"
"I often choose Leonardo hotels for holidays as it's a good chain I can trust. We loved the location here. The pool is good, although weirdly too deep (1.7m) for such a small pool that many families visit. Gym.on site was probably the most decent I've seen in a hotel. Didn't eat or drink at the hotel, so cannot comment on that, but there are so many restaurants in the Lanes, you will be spoilt for choice. We've upgraded room to family with 2 King beds and it was lovely! I would definitely come back."
"If we book direct to the harbor hotel's website, we can get a free entry to the spa, but since we booked in trip. com, we were charged £10 each by the hotel. Why don't the trip. com make it free for us to use the hotel's spa?"
"Fantastic stay – great service, location, and value!
We stayed over a weekend and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Check-in: we arrived early at 1pm (official check-in is 3pm) and was pleasantly surprised that our rooms was already ready. The front desk team were warm and welcoming.
Service: The staff went above and beyond – they even sent a follow-up SMS to check if our rooms were comfortable and if we needed any assistance. A personal touch that made a real difference.
Location: Perfect – just a few steps from Brighton beach. Very convenient for exploring the seafront and town.
Room: Clean, comfortable, and with strong, reliable air-conditioning. We didn't have a sea view (opted for a standard room), but it was perfectly fine since we were out most of the day.
Wi-Fi: Fast and consistent – no issues at all.
Parking: On-site parking available, and the rate was very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area.
Breakfast: The buffet spread was superb. A special mention for the dedicated vegan and vegetarian station – great to see such thoughtful options.
Overall: Highly recommended for families, couples, solo travellers, or anyone wanting a stress-free stay in Brighton. I'd definitely stay again."
"Perfect base for a night out/seaside stay in Brighton! The Ambassador Hotel is a Georgian townhouse, located in a quiet square, just a few steps from the beach, very near to Palace Pier and Madeira Drive, Ideal for accessing all that Brighton has to offer. I stayed for one night as I was attending an evening event on the beach, and it was ideal. The location was perfect— close to everything, and easy to get back to late at night. The hotel has a 24-hour reception, staff were very welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. Great value for a quick stay!"
"Great location near the station. Complimentary breakfast is mediocre. Coffee station can have a long line as they have only one machine. Bedroom is clean with comfortable bed/pillows. The shower in the accessibility bathroom can reach all the way to the toilet and to some extent close to the sink and it doesn't drain/dry quick enough. If you need to do laundry, there is a free self serve with 3 sets of washer/dryer."
"The hotel is in a great location on Brighton seafront. Large reception with a bar and restaurant. The restaurant food was good, but not excellent. Room was modernly furnished, but it you can't get away from the very old nature of the building. Felt dated in places."
