Santorini Kastelli Resort

We stayed for four nights in May. What a gem of a hotel - from the moment we arrived we knew we had made a good choice. The hotel has many pools and seating areas - enabling you to find your own secluded spot or the main pool area offers superb chill out music and vibe with attentive staff providing a sun lounge drink / food service. We were upgraded to a suite which had a pool shared with two other rooms - the ultimate in privacy. It was split level with the bedroom in the mezzanine level, it gave us lots of space. The buffet breakfast was excellent and food in the restaurant was delicious. Drinks were great - definitely the best margaritas in Santorini (& we tried a few!) It was the staff that really made the hotel a special place, so friendly and going that little bit further to make sure we had everything we needed. If you are coming to Santorini I highly recommend this resort. The sea and a plethora of bars and restaurants are just a 5 min walk away. We hired a car (€45) and visited the north west - beautiful Oia for sunset. Pretty as it was - it was busy and crowded so we were pleased to come back to Kamari. The island is tiny with a car you can easily get one side to another in 30 mins ( depending on traffic!).

This 5* hotel definitely lives up to its rating! From the moment we stepped foot into the place we were looked after so well by the lovely staff. A special mention has to go to Kash who made our days brighter with his super smile at breakfast every day. His warm and friendly approach made us feel at ease. Also Victoria who made sure there was a constant coffee top up at breakfast and was super helpful with the loveliest manner. The choice of food at breakfast was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. The rooms were spacious and spotless and were cleaned every day. Comfy beds too. We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.

We stayed 10 nights at Santorini Kastelli Resort and had an amazing time. My husband and I traveled with our 7 month old baby. Arrival: We arrived quite late and were given a quick tour of the resort which was lovely! We were in room 402 which was on the first floor and had the perfect view over the main pool and bar area. Room: The room is spacious. Fitted three of us and a travel cot easily. There’s limited storage in the room. There’s a kettle, cups, coffee, safe, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc. Tv with only a news channel in English so we brought our iPad. The sockets have a usb connection. The bed is large and comfortable and there’s a small balcony. The walls are quite thin and you can hear a lot, especially with people staying above you. Food: We had breakfast at the hotel every morning and there was great variety and the quality was top class. There was something for everyone from fruit, pastries, breads, yoghurt, nuts/seeds, cereals, a gluten free section, hot food, a selection of teas/juices. We ate dinner at the hotel one night and the food was lovely, especially the desserts which we returned for a few nights later. The bar provides a bar menu during the day with sandwiches/wraps/pizzas etc. Drinks: The bar has a nice variety of drinks including a cocktail menu. Staff: We can not speak highly enough of the staff. Especially Victoria who was an amazing hit with our daughter and us. She made great time for everyone and was definitely missed on our return home. Some of the staff are amazing , especially those working during the day but one or two of those in managerial roles need to relax a small bit in our opinion. We had asked for a couple of things during our stay and the reception staff never seemed to like changes being made so they refused anything requested like a change to taxi time to airport etc but were extremely accommodating by providing a room for us to change our baby on the day we were leaving as they couldn’t provide a late checkout. Pool: As we had our baby, we used the main pool all of the time. There were 3 other pools available and they seemed a lot quieter but let’s be honest, no one wants a baby near them in a small inclosed area. The water was cold, very cold. But we still got in and loved it. I think it would be a lot warmer in the summer months. Transport: We hired a car for one day to drive to neighboring Fira and Oia. We organised the car with reception the day before. The car was delivered to the hotel at 10am in the morning and collected from the hotel the following day which was ideal. There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel which is supposed to be very good. I wouldn’t be rushing to these places in peak season as they are supposed to be crazy. At the beginning of May, beautiful! Location: The hotel is only a stones throw from local restaurants/bars/shops/beach. Great location and you couldn’t get much closer. Stunning and quiet hotel, impeccably clean and fresh. Fabulous shower and bathroom, comfy bed, large balcony overlooking Mesa Vouno. One large pool with bar and lunch area, three smaller pools for a more private feel. Marvellous food, the squid ink linguine with seafood is amazing. Staff are the kindest I’ve met in any hotel and are proficient in many languages. 100 m from seafront in Kamari, close enough for long walks and far enough away from the hustle and bustle.

Our stay at the Santorini Kastelli Resort Hotel was excellent. The Hotel is beautiful and the staff were very kind, friendly and accommodating. The rooms were excellent, and the food was delicious. The pools were spotless and the loungers so comfy. We would certainly return as we had a wonderful holiday at this resort. Lorna, Helen and Linda

There is nothing not to like here. From the moment of arrival it was an oasis of calm. Everything about the resort is top class, the rooms, the pool area, comfortable loungers, beautiful food and of course the staff, everyone is so friendly and a special shout out to Victoria and Cass who pampered us over breakfast each morning. The hotel is just a few steps away from shops, restaurants and bars, and the beach is less than 5 minutes walk away. Buses to Fira go every 30 minutes from Kamari, a 15 minute journey and definitely worth the trip as also is Oia for the beautiful sunsets. There is a tennis court available at the hotel for a small charge and the hotel arranges transfers to the airport also if required. The Kastelli resort is a credit to the Management and all staff, I cannot recommend it enough and look forward very much to our next visit. Thanks to everyone there!

Where do we start. We had an amazing time. The staff are wonderful and very professional. We were greeted when we arrived and had our luggage taking to our room. Once we got to the room we realised that they have upgraded our room to the master suite! We was amazed. The food was excellent and would recommend the half bored option to anyone. The staff at the restaurant were so good! They made us very welcomed and made sure we was well looked after, so Thank-you to every single one of you! The reception team was great! Anything we needed they sorted it out for us. Truly amazing people! The hotel in general is very classy, we’ll maintained The cleaner made sure our room was all stocked and cleaned every morning! She is amazing and a very pleasant lady! Thankyou all so much! We will be back:) 5/5 for everything. Not a single bad word about it

Absolutely stunning hotel 🩵 perfect for exploring Santorini and kamari itself is such a vibe ✨ we had a private pool and loungers outside our patio doors …. Was amazing. Breakfast was great ….the bubbles were a nice touch … pool beds were lush to lie on …. We didn’t eat dinner at the hotel so can’t comment on the food. Thank you for such an amazing stay would definitely return 🩵

Myself and my wife stayed here for our second wedding anniversary and booked a luxury suite with private hot tub. The hotel was amazing and so clean and tidy breakfast everyday was served 8-11 and when we arrived on check in we were given a tour of the resort and made to feel so welcome it was like you were at home not just a guest but family. The waiting staff at breakfast got to know their customers and remembered us every morning which is a nice touch. I honestly couldn’t fault this hotel and will definitely be returning in the future. Our hostess Victoria was nothing but great from start to finish to ensure we had a relaxing and pleasurable stay and we can’t thank her enough too! They’re our 4 pools and if you have a luxury suite you have your own which makes it 5 pools which is cool! Once again will definitely be returning and thank you so much to the kastelli resort team 😃
