We had a wonderful stay! Awesome staff, 24-7 bar service. Clean rooms and beautiful views. Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends/family. Thank you, El Colonial!

We really enjoyed our stay. Superb staff. Great location. Complimentary lobby bar for guests open 24/7. Nice rooftop area. Some umbrellas on the roof would be nice. We'll definitely stay there again.

The staff were more than helpful, from the second we walked in Lewis immediately greeted us with drinks (free open bar) and gave us great tips on how to start our vacation. Also the communication between staff was top notch! I will most definitely be staying here again when I visit back.

Location is perfect if you want to stay in Old San Juan. Staff was so sweet, hospitable, and friendly. Loved the rooftop and the house made drinks. My partner and I loved it and will come back next time we visit!

El Colonial is a beautiful building in the heart of Old San Juan. We absolutely adored the staff, room, and area! We will certainly return - hopefully with some friends!

This really was a gem! Perfect location with walking distance to great bars and restaurants and close to cruise port!Great staff welcomed you with a cocktail.Open bar also!
Comfortable bed but small bathroom!
No elevator but staff helped carrying all our suitcases!!Only downside is the whole echoing and poor toilet draining due to an old establishment that was renovated with great vibe!!

We had such an amazing time at El Colonial! The staff were super friendly and so accommodating. They made excellent restaurant recommendations in the neighborhood. The hotel was super conveniently located so in Old San Juan. The hotel also felt safe.
