The staff were very helpful and attentive. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Surprising for me were safety concerns. I was approached by an odd guy one night as I was waiting for someone to come back to the reception, and was glad when the member of staff appeared. Very awkward situation but the guy left thankfully. However, the next night there was an incident at around 4AM with someone trying to break down a door of one of the guests and threatening them. I heard a woman scream. Not somewhere I would want to stay as a single female traveler again. I would choose a hotel with an indoor reception where guests are more protected. A sad reflection of SF.

Staff at front desk very unhelpful. They didn't answer the bell during working hours.
Guests upstairs were noisy during the night. They were yelling very loud and staff didn't do anything.

The management was very friendly and accommodating. Made foe a very pleasant experience. Location is great. Transportation and great dining options very close. For the price, a good hotel.

Not sure why it’s quoted two stars…
Room super clean although need minor repairs.
Location for public transport is AWESOME.
Great price for being so close to Fisherman’s Wharf sector

Older motel type, Close to Fisherman’s Wharf, friendly and helpful desk clerk, good for one night before leaving on a cruise. Rooms were small and cramped.
