Days Inn by Wyndham Black Bear

Looks to have been untouched since the 70’s. Walking up the stairs, it appeared that someone had vomited on them long ago and it was allowed to dry and become encrusted. Opening the door to the room, a musty odor greeted me, along with the roar of a window mounted air conditioner. I was too tired from the long day’s drive and the sheets looked clean so I fell asleep. The free breakfast in the morning was a bowl of granola bars and a pitcher of orange juice. Literally, that was it. I won’t be stopping there on my return trip.

Place was good for the price, needed more amenities and mini fridge in room did not stay cold for long. Overall a good stay.

The lock on the door did not work the best and I had to get the key cards redone multiple times. Room was fine and everything worked well. It was nice that they had FS1 on there TV and I could watch the Women's world cup games.

The room is big.

Fresh smelling room. Clean sheets. Comfy bed. Big tv. Micro and frig. The gym was 1980s out of date. Breakfast was juice and granola bar

Very worn. Light posts burnt out in parking lot. Light fixtures in room not real safe. No alarm clock, no conditioner or lotion, only shampoo (thankfully). The directions for using air conditioner was long winded (I got tired of reading the instructions). Gotta say, the female that checked us in had absolutely no personality or smile. We get what we pay for, but I have a hard time paying $200 for one night sleep and a decent shower. After all this, I will still stay at Days Inn, but wont expect anything. Also, I've yet to stay in a "Choice Hotel" that didn't have slow drains.

The upside was that it was quiet. The bed was comfortable. It was somewhat tidy...just a lot of stains on bedding and towels.

The people were nice, but the place isn’t great. Very old and not updated, not a great part of town. Old AC and heating units- not mini splits.

the rooms had filthy linens and even worse restrooms. my bathtub had actual blood in the bottom that had dried and turned black and was flaking off into powder. after I canceled that same day at check-in they charged my anyway and it took 2 weeks to get a refund.
