"The hotel was in the heart of the city, great location and close to main attractions. Easy to get to from the airport using n9 bus for €6. The room was cleaned daily and towels were also changed daily. The staff were friendly and happy to help when needed. For a 3star hotel, this hotel has great value for money due to its location, and service. The breakfast was decent and the pool had a great view. The room had a balcony with a beautiful view."

"Cleaned every day, good breakfast, great location (hotels part of Funchal, but also walkable to centre), lots of restaurants and shops around, bus stop right outside, pleasant and helpful staff, well maintained pool, pool towels provided. Only con - old hairdryer, so it gets very hot and smells burnt. Also no iron."

"Das Hotel ist super gelegen und hat einen hoteleigenen Parkplatz. Wir wurden sehr freundlich mit einem Welcome Drink begrüsst. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls super und sehr reichhaltig – vor allem die Früchteauswahl war genial. Weniger gut gefiel uns unser Zimmer. Wir hatten extra ein Zimmer mit Balkon gebucht und erhielten dann ein Zimmer im 1. Stock mit einem Balkon auf den Durchgang, was sehr komisch war – kein Mensch sitzt dann auf diesen Balkon... Die Dusche hat unkontrolliert von kalt auf extrem heiss, sodass wir uns verbrannt haben, gewechselt. Am ersten Tag wurden wir vor 9 Uhr geweckt, weil das Personal das Zimmer reinigen wollte, das war ärgerlich. Am zweiten Tag war das Zimmer dann aber um 14.00 Uhr immer noch nicht gereinigt, obwohl wir den ganzen Morgen weg waren. Beim Frühstück gingen unsere bestellten Eier unter – wir haben über 20 Minuten auf zwei 3-Minuten-Eier gewartet. Als wir sie dann nach 20 Minuten nochmals bestellten, weil wir dachten, die Bestellung ging vergessen, haben sie uns ganz nonchalant gefragt, ob wir tatsächlich vier Eier wollen. Nach unserer Erklärung, dass wir schon ewig lange warten, gab es kein Entschuldigung oder sonst irgendetwas, was wir ziemlich unangebracht fanden. Alles in allem würden wir das Hotel wahrscheinlich nicht noch einmal buchen, da es für den ziemlich hohen Preis doch zu viele negative Aspekte und Erfahrungen gab."

"On the whole, it’s a really great hotel at the price. The rooms are spacious and clean.The staff were really helpful in organising things for my partners birthday and really went the extra step to make our trip special. Can’t fault the service. My only gripes are that you can’t set the you can’t set up the aircon yourself in the rooms and the gym is limited."

"Hotel localizado dentro do Centro Comercial Plaza Madeira. Difícil achar pois a entrada é pelo Shopping (?) ou pela garagem privada em baixo do shopping. Pouca informação e difícil de entender como chegar a recepção pela garagem. Até o Waze se embaralhou para achar o hotel. Sobimos 2 ascensores e entramos em porta com campainha, corredor estrito e depois um terraço a descoberto. Daí uma  porta de vidro pesada para acessar pelo lounge de eventos. Piso todo de cascalho (pedra) com rolamento difícil das malas com rodas. Apesar da maratona (jogo escape) o hotel é boutique como visual bonito e com uma café da manhã de um 5 estrelas. Se melhorassem a chegada para recepcionar os clientes como é costume nos Hotéis 5 estrela ficaria um Luxo só. o aquecimento da piscina no  Terrace seria uma mais valia. Quartos limpos e minibar ”on demand”. Gostamos até do robô que recolhe os pratos e utensílios do café."
