La Marquise Luxury Resort Complex

What an amazing place! Best hotel we have stayed in as a family - we have an 11 and a 7 yr old. The resort is spread out with low rise rooms. A number of the pools are connected with a restaurant/bar in the middle. There are 2 pools for adults only along with adult only rooms and a separate toddler pool so loads of space for everyone. Pools weren’t heated so rather chilly but didn’t stop my kids. The food was fabulous - different theme every evening. The restaurant staff were brilliant especially Hasan who always had time for a joke :) The entertainment was away from the rooms and no massive stage so quite low key. Lots of aqua aerobics, zumba, kids football etc… for anyone to join in and a mini club - we didn’t use that so can’t comment. It was also the first time in a long time we didn’t need to fight for sunbeds which was lovely - even after spending the morning exploring Rhodes old town and getting to the pools about 2pm, still plenty of sunbeds. My only disappointment was, and this may sound picky, the hair dryer wasn’t very good so if you like using a decent hairdryer then take your own and the shower could have been better but again small things. Apart from that, best place we’ve been to and will definitely be returning.

The adult area rooms were old and dated and dreary.. bathrooms were big but again needed updating . We spent a lot of money on 3 Adult rooms for 11 days in may this year.fist impression WOW as we arrived at night and its all lit up ..the staff r fantastic and work everyday and all day ..the wow oon went ....and i have to say disappointing nothing like the reviews all read ... Weve had nothing but trouble with all our rooms Not being cleaned properly .the food ok but nothing like a five star should be ...rooms need updating ..paint work needs tidying up .the main restaurant is like a cattle market ..if the suits would leave the staff tp do there jobs it would run smoothly..our table last nite was piled with dirty plates as one waiter started to clear the manager told him to do something else ...and the manager was stood looking at our table .. The main bar lovely but waiting over an hr for drinks again thats down to the so call suited staff ...interfering...99%of the staff r fantastic and welcoming ... The spa outside pool is lovely but again needs revamp .. entertainment advertised each day ...then its not wot u get . Coffee shop A lot of money spent on this hol and wot a waste of money ...was surposed to be a special relaxing hol and its just becoming nightmare we a really hating opening the door to our rooms each time .would we come here again ... Never not even if it was given to us on a gold plate

What a wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful! So clean everywhere. The food was lovely with a lot of variety each day. We went with an 18 month old and the staff could not have been kinder to him. Hygerta in particular in the dinner hall gave him high fives each day and Andreas who was driving the cars/ buggy was so kind to him, stopping each time he saw him to say 'beep beep' , which really did make him so happy. Thank you to Andreas, Hygerta and everyone who was so kind even though they are busy. Facilitates were excellent, the pools are connected and make a great feature. The children's pool and play area is lovely and our little one had a fab time. The bus stop is very close and we had a lovely day out at the Old Town which is beautiful. Really impressed with this resort. It has a very luxurious appearance in the lobby and the grounds are immaculate. There is a golf buggy concierge available to drive you around the resort. The food was very high quality in the restaurants but I was a bit disappointed by the main buffet restaurant. It was ok but not the best. The rooms were lovely too. We had the adults only area with private pool. The only downside to this resort is that premium branded spirit alcohol was not included. I feel like already spending a large amount on an all inclusive holiday I didn’t want to pay extra for something that I feel should be included. Also there is a beach bar which was very nice. But it was not included. So had to pay for food and drinks. These are the only downsides. Everything else was amazing! Especially the breakfast upstairs in the restaurant. I visited the gym most mornings and it’s had good equipments. We got a taxi to Rhodes town for €20 which was only 10 mins. Highly recommend. There is a bus outside the hotel but we missed it. One day we walked to faliraki and enjoyed a few beach bars along the way. Taxi back. Another day we walked to Kalithea springs.

Just home from a week's break, hotel clean, adult rooms are outdated, food in the a Al carte restaurants very good, but struggling to provide a good service due to lack of staff, evening service at the crystal bar is shocking, due to again lack of staff and don't be surprise to wait up anything up to an hour for a drink, we had à bottle of wine left in our room as an apology, maybe we received the bottle of wine, to have one less couple waiting to be served, senior management need to wake up, its not a relaxing atmosphere when a large number of holiday makers are getting frustrated due to long waiting times

We recently returned from the La Marquise Resort - this was our third stay at this beautiful hotel over recent years, and we enjoyed every minute of it! The staff were very kind and helpful, at the Front Desk, restaurant, pool bar, bellboys, etc. Our room and the premises were clean and tidy, and both breakfast and dinner offered varied and tasty dishes. A special thank you goes to the Pastry Chef and his team - all desserts were superb, we appreciate your hard work and had a hard time deciding what to taste every evening! Keep up the good work, we will be back!

This hotel is very pretty with beautiful bungalow type rooms with patio and direct access to pool. However getting a drink at times took ages at one time over 20 minutes. And also queues to get a table at dinner, this took 20 mins on one evening. Staff were all working extremely hard and the guys behind the bar never stopped but it seemed to be due to staff shortages which was a shame. Monica in the animation team who runs the stretch, yoga and aqua aerobics is great. What a lovey personality, and very funny. Good tips as well on areas and sites to see,

When you arrive in the dark it’s a wow factor, going into reception lovely, and then it goes downhill from there rooms dated bathrooms very dated, open patio doors straight out of the swimming pool perfect very beautiful ,the gardens are loverly , main restaurant like a cattle market queues going out the door that just to be able to get a table and sit down you have to go through the queues to get to your sweets and then back through the queues to be able to sit back down at your table, main bar area anything up to half an hour waiting for a drink we got the hang of it in the end we ordered two drinks each every time we ordered, don’t know why you had to wait so long there was enough staff running around and a lot of management doing nothing just on their phones.now let’s say about the cleaning ,,,or so I say the none cleaning ,,,,,I gave it 3days before I complained about my bathroom not being cleaned the head housekeeper came done and said it was not good enough and the she would get a team of different cleaners to come and clean the whole room and they did and she said that they will do the room every day from now on until we leave that lasted three days and then the old cleaners came back in and then all the trouble started again. They use this same cloth as they clean the ashtray out to do the glasses and the cups we use for coffee, no water just cloth to my sister’s room next door. We had all the doors open and I was watching and they done exactly the same to her. My sister‘s bathroom wasn’t even touched. The shower was still dirty but they washed the floor of the shower but didn’t do the shower and the glass , her mugs and water glasses smell of dirty clothes my sister put a bad review on there Facebook page and with in 30 mins she had a phone call from management and asked us to go up and see them we did and they said y did she put this on there Facebook page we explained y they said that people been going there for year and returning and would not like to see this review we said about the bathrooms not being cleaned and using the same cloths they said they have 3 different colour cloths to use on different areas I said u may have but the cleaner are not using them that way and if they went down to the adult only area and asked people in the other room they will say the same my sister had 110 comments from that review and then it got shut down by the sounds of it and what we found out from some of the worker ,,,,who I will say most of them are great funny and do anything they can for you ,,,, we’re writing the review on here and on the Facebook page ,so we will not be going back to this hotel and are complaining to TUI about it all

The place is incredible. There are no words to describe how beautiful hotel is and how amazing the stuff is. It is one completely magical place. However they have a photographers in hotel that are absolutely horrible. Very aggressive and unprofessional. That experience was close to ruin our holiday. I hope management will resolve this issue.
