Hotel de l' Esplanade

In the past we had stopped of here for coffee and excellent strudel so it seemed a good idea for an overnight stay. The location is amazing with good views of the Mosel. We arrived on a very sunny afternoon when all the world wanted to be by the river in Remich so parking was very difficult and we had to park a long way from the hotel. Obviously not much the hotel can do about that but maybe warning guests that parking can be difficult sometimes. Reception was friendly and efficient and the room had a good view of the river as well as access to a shared balcony (unfortunately used for smoking by some guests). Back to the sunny afternoon and some aircon or a fan would have been appreciated. We decided to eat in the restaurant and found the menu a bit expensive and found the portions unnecessarily large, Too much food seems an odd criticism, but smaller pertions would probably have left room for a dessert. Service in teh restaurant was fine. Breakfast was good, again with friendly service. A great location but a few things could be improved.

Location wise this is as good as it get's in Remich but the Hotel could clearly do with some refurbishments. Rooms are a bit outdated and the furniture has seen his best times. Staff is very friendly.

Stayed for two nights, staff was very friendly and helpful. We are from the states and don’t speak much French, but that did not stop them from trying their best to be make sure we were happy. I enjoyed their breakfast. Their dinner was delicious. The only thing I did not like was the cigarette smell in the hotel room, which can be a problem for someone with asthma.

Entrando in Lussemburgo, sulla strada del vino e sulla riva della Mosella, abbiamo trovato questo bellissimo Hotel. Personale veramente gentile e accogliente, bella camera e non cara, ottima cena e ottima colazione. Garage per la moto. Bella zona. Lo consigliamo caldamente.

Hôtel qui devrait être fermé! Une honte : rideaux déchirés, salle de bains des années 30, moquette qui date de ma grand-mère... De plus, on a vu un couple avec un chien : pas étonnant que ça nous gratte de partout... Petits déjeuners immangeables : pain élastique et mou, croissant industriel qui s'allonge de 50 cm lorsque vous voulez le couper et des moucherons par dizaine au dessus du buffet non réfrigéré. Une odeur insupportable près des cuisines et qui n'a fait que s'intensifier la nuit à notre retour. Le comble, c'est que l'on a croisé une femme de ménage âgée avec un petit masque tissu alors qu'elle transpirait à grosses gouttes et qu'elle semblait malade. Que font les services vétérinaires à Remich?

Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen könnte eine Renovierung vertragen. Alter Teppichboden. Frühstück unfreundliche Bedienung. Nur eine gewisse Anzahl an Croissants, kommt man später unmöglich ein Croissant zu ergatteren. Omlett oder Spiegelei nicht möglich. Zwei Flaschen „Champagner“ 84 Euro !

Lit de 140cm avec couverture en polar l'horreur il fait très chaud pas de clim vue sur la Moselle très brouillant car artère principales en plus sa pue les égouts vraiment inacceptable pour ce genre d'établissement qui ce dit au top tromperie grotesque sur les prestations et les photos du site
