Holiday Inn Express Qingdao West Coast Golden Beach

It was in a good location. Currently there is a construction going on near it, so no real seaview images. The staff was helpful and spoke good English. Decent enough breakfast.

My friend and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express during our trip to Qingdao. Initially, we had high expectations of the hotel especially since my friend had experienced what Holiday Inn was like in a previous city which was a very good experience. However, our expectations were no met😕 at this hotel. Overall, it was not a bad stay because the hotel was at a good location (there's a mall literally behind the hotel, lots of restaurants and 5 min walk from the subway station) and the staff at the front dest were nice. However, the food, on trip.com, it notes there's western breakfast but there was not! The breakfast was a basic Chinese breakfast so we were not satisfied with the breakfast at all. Additionally, the hotel needs to be diligent about cleaning the bathrooms. You need to actually scrub the bathroom and not just wipe it down! The shower and around the face basin had mold which was very disgusting and disturbing 🤢. Please do better! Otherwise, we had a good stay. The bed and pillows were so soft, we felt like we were sleeping on clouds 😍😁. We also loved that the lobby had free popcorn for the guests to take 😄.

Located a short distance walk from Metro station and seaside and next to a shopping mall. Appreciate that free of charge self service laundry service is available including dryer.

My visit was mainly for a run, and the hotel's located in a convenient area, perfect for an easy run with a view of water, boats, landscape, and architecture. It's also near a few restaurants and convenience stores.

This is my second time staying in this hotel and I'm not disappointed. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable, it gave me a wonderful opportunity to get some rest.

Very helpful staff. Great location. The best value for the price. Free coffee, very good breakfast with plenty of western options. The only minus was the problem with not working door cards for me and some other guests. Overall- definitely will come back.

The staff know how to communicate in fluent English, good location near to the park and the room always got clean, the breakfast is really good

Nice hotel, clean and cozy room without smoking smell. Special thanks to front office manager mr.Frank Luan who helped us in some daily routine and also presented a cup of great draft Qingdao beer in the hall, he speaks very good english so we had no problems while staying. Advise this hotel for staying and this guy for connection.

Perfect Hotel !! Very friendly stuff !! We arrived early on the first day so Frank offered free coffee and breakfast 🍳! Definitely gonna go back there anytime visiting Qingdao!
