One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in and certainly the best in Sri Lanka. Great food, excellent staff, great gym, pool and ambience.we stayed for 3 x nights in a chalet very close to the see front; it was very clean and well appointed. We changed from BandB to full board.once we arrived; this was $38 pppn, which wasn’t unreasonable but it’s worth checking that it’s not more economical to book FB or AI beforehand than change once there. After a couple of weeks exploring across Sri Lanka, this hotel was a luxurious way to unwind. I highly recommend it; special mention to some of the great staff who were particularly helpful during our stay; Grumman, Dulakshi, Maheshini and Upul.

Our 1st visit to Sri Lanka and we were very much looking forward to our stay at Club Hotel Dolphin, upon arrival we were greeted warmly and shown to our room. We were staying in one of the superior rooms on the 3rd floor, there is no lift only for staff to use so if you have any mobility issues make sure you request a ground floor room. We had a few issues with the cleanliness of the room, however after a quick chat with reception this was quickly rectified. The pool area and grounds of the hotel are kept immaculately clean and EVERY single member of staff we encountered was super polite and friendly. Animation team work hard by the main pool every day to get you involved in the many activities but are super understandable if you just let them know you want to chill on your sun lounger. We were lucky enough to be there for NYE, and oh my word what a night it was.....absolutely incredible. The amount of effort that went into making sure the night was a success was phenomenal and honestly, it was one of the best NYE's we have had in long time. A huge thank you and well done to all involved. Food - now this is the reason I can't give 5 stars, whilst the dishes we tried were delicious it was always luke warm at best.....I know this has been mentioned to the management team and I really hope they listen to the feedback. I appreciate it is a buffet setting and there will always be a period of time the food is stood but even when we went for breakfast/lunch/dinner as soon as the restaurant opened the food was never hot. Such a shame as you can see how much effort goes into creating the dishes. Overall we had a wonderful week in Sri Lanka

We had such an amazing time in Sri Lanka at Club hotel dolphin. The rooms are lovely and spacious, very family friendly! The food is amazing, we felt like we had a real Sr Lankan experience when dining. Some of our party are quite fussy which the restaurant were happy to accommodate. The animation team are fantastic. They organise games for everyone to enjoy which really helped us to remain entertained as a group. Kids animator Randima Rosa was fantastic at getting the younger kids up dancing and playing. Kalidu, Tharindu, sanka dj, sashi and Imantha were so impressive. From organising games during the day to performing at night. They really helped us to have the most amazing holiday! We will definitely return!!

Club hotel dolphin was amazing and the pool was really enjoyable with the animation team making a lot of fun for the children whilst in the pool like aerobics and water volleyball and constant entertainment on the beach to keep the whole family entertained. The food was exceptional and had a wide variety to suit everyone’s needs. Dinuka helped everyone remain interested throughout the holiday

Love the pool, the restaurant is amazing and delicious food, staff are lovely especially fitness animator pahasara who was lovely and amazing entertainment, the rooms are lovely and spacious and clean, the animation team are great and have amazing shows

Our stay at Club Dolphin Hotel was very enjoyable. The rooms were great, good buffet, and the staff was friendly. We really enjoyed the company of Kalindu from their animation team during our time in the pool and the kareoke bar. Will definitely come back.
