We stayed here for 5 nights Transfer from airport 1hr 30min but yep well worth it when we got here omg stunning hotel reception was great all the staff are amazing, We stayed in ambassador room top quality The hotel is so quiet very relaxing just everything about this place is 10 ⭐️ The spa is another bonus all free steam rooms etc We stayed b&b breakfast good choice but plenty of restaurants and bars outside the hotel will return next year

My husband and I visited the Sol Costa Atlantis Hotel for a week in April 2024. We were very much looking forward to our stay at this particular hotel as having viewed it online, we thought it looked rather nice. Our arrival at the hotel was quite late due to having experienced a flight delay therefore, we were feeling quite tired, however, we found that the reception staff were not very welcoming or friendly, they just went through the process of getting us checked in, there was no ‘Welcome to our hotel, have you stayed with us before’, nothing of that nature, no welcome drink was offered. Once checked in, we went to our room which considering it was a 4* hotel, we were surprised at how basic the room was. We unpacked and tried to open the Safe to store our valuables. We were unable to open it so being tired, we decided to deal with everything the following morning. We were booked on a half board basis so, we got up the next morning to go for breakfast and both said how incredibly warm the room was and, because of the room temperature neither of us had slept well. We checked the air conditioning but were unable to deal with whatever the issue was. We then went for breakfast which, unfortunately, wasn’t great. We absolutely appreciate that with buffet food, due to it sitting, it can get cold quickly but, having said that, there were a lot of people staying at the hotel if the dining room was anything to go by which meant that the turnover of food from the buffet was quick so, I wouldn’t have expected the food to be as as cold as it was. Also, the toasters which were in the dining room, there just wasn’t enough of them and then, to make matters worse, when you put a slice of bread through the toaster you had to repeat the process 2 to 3 times as the bread wasn’t toasting!! Then we had the coffee machines of which you had to queue for a considerable length of time to get a coffee as again, for the amount of people, there weren’t enough coffee machines. After breakfast we went to reception to report the air conditioning issue. The chap with whom we spoke said he would get a maintenance person to fix whatever the issue was. We informed him we were out for the day so the technician could go into our room at any stage. We also asked about the Safe in our room to which the chap on reception advised that we would have to pay to use the safe. I was appalled to hear this saying to him ‘That’s daft, surely if there’s a safe in the room, it forms part of the room, it’s a bit like saying, there’s a wardrobe but you can’t hang your clothes in it until you pay to use it’. My view is if you’ve paid for a room, then you should have access to everything in that room especially the safe as it doesn’t cost the hotel any extra to allow guests access to the safe in their room!! After our day out, we came back to our room only to find that the air conditioning hadn’t been fixed much to our disappoin**ent and to make matters worse, when we reported it

We had a good time and found the hotel and all the staff excellent. They were able to accommodate a room change for us which was an upgrade from our booking. Both my wife and I had a 24 hour tummy bug as did some other guests we spoke to, did we catch it at the hotel ? Who knows it was probably a virus that was going around and we think its unlikely to be down to the food and could not really fault the cleanliness of the hotel . So sometimes when a lot of people are together these things happen ! There was a good selection of dishes in the restaurant and it was what you would expect from a hotel of this standard, a lot of what they serve up is the same daily with variations of the main courses , it was fine for one week for us. We did lots of walking and went down to the town which took around 20 minutes each way. We also did the morning yoga and aqua aerobics the animation team were really good and made it a great fun experience, and it’s something we now want to keep up. We used the main pool it was cool but refreshing and well maintained. It was also great that do not allow any towels on sun beds before the pool area opens at 9.30 and it worked really well with sun beds available every day. One thing we didn’t like was the smoking area on a terrace at the front of the hotel as the cigarette smoke smell drifts into the reception area. Some of the guest we spoke to were returning customers we would use the hotel group again but maybe in a different resort.

Je ne comprends pas pourquoi cet hôtel a une mauvaise note. Avant de m'y rendre, j'étais un peu inquiet. Après mon séjour, je dois dire que j'en suis satisfaite. L'hôtel est situé dans le nord de Tenerife, à quelques pas des Escaliers Colorés de Puerto De La Cruz, pas loin du centre de Puerto de la Cruz, avec une plage de sable noir, une variété de boutiques, de restaurants et de bars, ainsi que de la piscine en plein air Lago Martiánez... Cet hôtel offre un excellent rapport qualité-prix, son tarif est très bas comparé aux hôtels de même catégorie. Bien que les installations de l'hôtel ne soient pas récentes, à ce prix-là, il n'y a vraiment rien à dire.

This hotel is excellent we loved every part of it. Stayed in room 620 ideal for reception/pool (level 7) and restaurant (level five) the hotel is spotless the staff are excellent and the sound of the sea each evening is soothing. Tips The hotel is a bit of a distance to the main town it’s very hilly and we only went down once you can walk a kind of cliff path but it’s full of stairs which after a while kills you and gets very tedious. Go out of the hotel walk to the top road go right and you will see a walkway with steps follow them down (they are called the Agatha Christie steps as there is a statue as she had a house there each step has a book title on them) just keep following the road down to the sea front loads of shops and restaurants plus the lido ( which is due to open soon) you can either walk back or get a taxi (4/5 euros) we didn’t bother going again as the Main Street above the hotel had many bar’s restaurants and shops very reasonable priced excellent service not much of a party time if you like that kind of thing down town will be better for you. Food Breakfast is amazing plenty of choice and easy to get through Evening meal got board quickly so used only a couple of times drinks expensive and didn’t approve they charged for water you pay for drinks on the way out or you can charge money to your room and top up when it runs out we preferred to pay as we go drinks wise we preferred to eat out and give to local family business etc. The pool The rule is no personal towels you need to hire them from reception ten euros (refundable with receipt) to change for fresh one one euro exchange but we found we could use both our own and the hotels the reason they like you to use them to show that you are staying there and haven’t sneaked in. The bar is good very professional service. The room Lovely views over the sea the bathroom has been the best I have ever had abroad lives the multi shower lights and the screen window trick great fun to play with tv is crap so we always take a fire stick power lead and remote control Wi-Fi is very good the codes allow two devices per ticket but you can have as many as you like we had three tablets two phones and a fire stick don’t forget to put in the code for your fire stick to make it work you might not get every thing you get at home but it’s better than the tv without it We booked with jet2 excellent transfers etc the excursions we booked was the body trip up the side of the island we managed to see whales and dolphins I do warn it will be a long day 11.45 we left and didn’t get back until eight pm if you don’t like rough conditions sea wise this trip might not be for you as four plus hours on a boat feeling sea sick isn’t much fun there is chance to swim off the boat the food was a bit naff not to everyone’s taste take a jumper it can start to get cold. Jeep trip to la gormera this involves taking a Fred Olsen ferry. Early morning start 7am from a restaurant just along from the hotel o
