What a fantastic hotel. Immaculately clean both inside and outside. The reception we got on arrival was warm and welcoming, the reception staff were extremely helpful and co-operative, but more importantly their nature was not false or forced. They were excellent ambassadors for the hotel. Our room was spacious, as was the shower room, the storage space was sufficient for two. The dining room had a good layout and the buffet serving was plentiful. The food was excellent and varied. Thank you chefs you worked hard to please us. Regarding the entertainment it isn't up to everybody's choice and I think having it late was to accommodate early play for small children. The pools were busy although the top pool was quieter. A tip would be to be very careful around the pool areas' as they are very slippy. The hotel is excellent value for money and I would certainly return
We all loved this hotel and couldn't fault it,but I do think Jet2 should let you know that 50% of the ground floor suites are over looking the car park infact 101 to 106 are actually on the same level as the car park about 6 feet away from parked cars which is not ideal when you have a 2 year old in the room,we weren't given the option for a sea view. Our first night (arriving at 11.30pm)we realised we didn't have a cot in the room ,after I had actually emailed the hotel to request this,he then had to sleep on a mattress on the floor and ended up under a coffee table after rolling off,not a good start. We did get a cot the next day but couldn't change our room. This did put a dampner on the holiday ,but found everything else really good,a playground for kids would have been good. The entertainment team were really good ,boys loved the mini disco and kids club.Food was excellent as were all the staff. The hotel is up a hill which we knew about so we did use the shuttle bus to get out and about.
When you go back to a hotel, you never expect it to be as good as the first time, but I was very pleasantly surprised to see that the hotel was as welcoming this time also. The staff are really helpful and friendly. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff that make your stay a pleasure and who seem genuinely interested in ensuring that you have a wonderful holiday. A huge thank you to Jonas, Ana in the El Lagar, Pablo just to mention a few more names that I haven’t mentioned in my previous review and I can only apologise to the other staff who deserve to be mentioned by name also. A special mention to Miranda and Augustino always who take time to ensure that guests are enjoying their stay. The food and drinks are good with a variety of options in the buffet as well as the El Lagar for Ala Carte dining if you want something a bit different. We would recommend the Privilege upgrade if you enjoy more choice for both food and drinks but this is not essential for a good experience. They are doing some refurbishment works to improve the hotel but this did not negatively affect our stay. We stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms and the room was of an excellent standard. All in all this was another great stay. Thank you to the entire team at the H10 Tenerife Playa that made this possible.
We absolutely love it here. The staff could not be more friendly and it has such a nice homely feel. The quieter rooms are on the back of the hotel overlooking the pool but all the entertainment ceases at 11 within the hotel and 12 on the street outside so we have never had any issues particularly. Very handy that the train to Loro Parque is right outside. The hotel is in an excellent position for strolling into Puerto itself and there are abundant shops and restaurants. The rooms are fairly old (it’s an old hotel) but are cleaned to a good standard every day. We had a few issues with room card not working but this was resolved by popping to reception. If you are on the lower floors and able bodied it’s best to avoid the lifts and use the stairs at busy times. At the time of writing the larger lift was out of action so only the two smaller ones were working. This is something I don’t think can really be improved as again the hotel is old and guess the lift shafts can’t be changed. It didn’t spoil our time here though! The daily games by the pool and nightly entertainment including a free game of bingo are fabulous. The entertainment team consisting of Cheryl Maria and Mey are so lovely and they really make the holiday special. So don’t hesitate to join in! They are part of the reason why we are Here again for the 4th time and why we will be booking to come back as soon as we get home. It’s nice to see familiar faces each time we return so thank you to all of you for making us feel like we never want to leave.
Great location but in dire need of some TLC... Hotel pool is not heated so if you have a weak heart keep out of it.. My room was very small a single bed as well and I have attached photos outlining the issues and run down features... Hotel staff were lovely, very friendly and the place was spotless.. I tried breakfast and struggled with the fact it was the same every day except you either got sausages or beans not both.. I love fresh fruit but all that was available was bananas and apples one day they had melon but that was it... No pool bar you had to go outside of the hotel to get any kind of drink and no pool service to save you having to try and dry off to get one.. Very noisy hotel staff were cleaning at 3am this morning sweeping the floors outside of my room and the church bells start at 7am and chime every half an hour.. Would I stay again no and other travellers stung there said they would not return. The street photos was the view from my room!
Excellent location. Rooms clean, dated but comfortable. If you drink beer or spirits all good. Cocktails out of a machine not nice. Staff as expected some happier than others ( non rude) Pool- small, sun loungers close together. Food- if you are fussy or just don’t like traditional AI ( like me) you will not like it. My husband ( not fussy) had no complaints. We went out every night, there’s plenty of places nearby. I suspect that how much you pay depends on what you really think. We paid less than £100 per night for us both in the school holidays. I wouldn’t really recommend this for children as it didn’t have enough to entertain them.
