From a travel point of view this alternative lifestyle hostel/Capsule hotel is a refreshing change from the norm . I have stayed several times mainly because I love Málaga and the Malagueta Playa is so convenient for many attractions ~ Muelle Uno and the Port,restaurants and bars and 15 minutes walk to the fabulous Alcazaba, Teatro Romana Amphitheatre and Gibralfaro Mirador entrance and the Historic Quarter. I enjoy most of the facilities of Futurotel and am Hugely impressed at the Hard Work of the ' Small' staff team of dedicated people Recently I heard that 3 staff members were summarily dismissed by the Cash oriented conscienceless Owners/ Management . I understand the Reception team have joined the Union to support their very clear case for Employees terms and conditions and fare pay. I wish them every success because it's the Reception/Housekeeping team that makes the Futurotel a success. I URGE any Clients/Guests to consider this and Question the Punitive activities of the owner against this hard working Hotel Family. A comfortable modern hotel, spacious room, and the lift outside my room was the quietest one in all the hotels I have stayed at. Nice big shower, and powerful too. The room had a ceiling fan and AC. Breakfast is not in the hotel but it is a 4 minute walk away in their sister hotel. Breakfast buffet was lovely, with a coffee machine, juices, freshly baked croissants, palmiers, bread, muffins, baguette, meat, hard boiled egg, yogurt, fruit, scrambled egg, beans, frankfurters It is a 15-20 walk to the centre and 7 minutes walk to Málaga María Zambrano train station, which is where I got the train to the airport. The only thing that didnt work very well for me was the wifi, I kept losing connection, I had to stand by the door for better connection or use my phone's data.

It is a good stay for a solo trip. The location is perfect, close to travel destinations, and the room is spacious, very clean, and bright. There is a bakery on the ground floor where the bread is tasty, but the swimming was not open in April during my stay, anyway I am very satisfied with this booking.

Absolutely miserable - minimum cheap furnishing , linoleum and paper wall panels in the bathroom!! Their photos are not real (for the ground floor at least) Any hostel is better, I cannot imagine how they got the two stars hotel category. They are thieves, better sleep outside and give the money to charity I had no idea such places and people exist in Spain - it's such pitty, I have been traveling for 15 years and have not seen lower quality ones

We stayed 7 nights as a family with a young child. We had a lovely holiday and what made it special were the staff, the lovely pool and sea view room. The animation team are fantastic - they put on fantastic family entertainment and my 3 year old had the time of her life. The pool, communal areas and bedroom were spotless. The housekeeping staff work tirelessly to keep the hotel clean. We stayed all inclusive and booked a sea view double room. Unfortunately on the first night we discovered our room was above the evening entertainment and it was incredibly loud. It was impossible to sleep. I asked reception if there was a possibility of a room change and they moved us to the other side of the hotel with no fuss at all. We were very grateful they didn't make it awkward and understood why it was difficult with a young child. The food was ok. They do a good job of providing food for a large audience. It isn't amazing but it was fine for 7 days and we found something to eat every day that we enjoyed. The cocktails were terrible. Genuinely the worst I've ever had. Pre mixed and watery. The wine and beer were fine. They were missing soft drinks suitable for children at lunch and evening meal sadly. The beach is fine. Clean but quite stoney and hard underfoot. I would recommend sea shoes to enjoy it. Easy access to the beach was lovely though! I would visit again when it wasn't school holidays - it was busy when we went and it was just outside the holidays. I can imagine queues are much bigger when the hotel is fully booked! Overall a lovely 'easy' holiday as a family.
