We had the worst holiday experience in this hotel and had to cut short our holiday from 4 nights + checkout day to one night+checkout. We booked through British Airways and despite booking for 2 adults, one child and one baby, we got a small room ideal for two adults and a child. The room itself did not have any ventilation, the phone was not working, wifi was patchy, and the bathroom was not cleaned properly. The mini-fridge was not working and Air Con could not be switched on. When we complained about the room size and asked to be changed they said it was BA's fault and they won't help. We thought fair enough let's see, but when we raised the other issues they simply were not interested in helping. When we complained many times about the lack of ventilation and the room being extremely hot for the baby, they said we could open the windows. When we opened it, we realised we were straight above the smoking zone and our room smelled of smoke within 5 minutes. Repeated requests to sort out the AC or give us a different room were met with no response. In the end, we decided to cut short our stay and fly back. And when we were checking out just after 1 and half days, there was no apology and they are refusing to refund us the money. The only reason we left was because the staff refused to help us in any way and could not change our rooms. Additionally, this hotel does not have any wheelchair/baby pram access and again staff was so unhelpful in coming out to keep luggage etc. They claim to be a four-star hotel but there was nothing 4 stars about them. Forget the luxuries you will associate with a 4-star there were no basic amenities and the staff was unhelpful on all accounts and they will not even bother to refund you.
