Villa Celentano

The pictures on Trip Advisor do not do justice to these lovely apartments and rooms. We spent a week here and could not have been happier. Maria and Enzo are wonderful hosts who greeted us each morning with a hearty breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage, an assortment of pastries and homegrown fruit--and of course Enzo's world-class coffee. Villa Celentano is perfectly situated midway up the mountain, making it easier to explore areas above or below you without too much of a killer uphill walk either way. Lots of restaurants and shops are nearby. But trust me, you'll want to wander and take it all in. We'll be back and look forward to staying here again.

Enzo and his family were very hospitable and helpful with local information. Hotel is up hill and stairs make dealing with luggage difficult. Use local luggage porter. Villa has magnificent views over the bay. Very clean and roomy. Loved our stay here.

This is our 2nd time staying at Villa Celentano and we loved it just as much as the 1st! Maria and her staff takes amazing care of you. The breakfast was incredible and came all from her garden. Looked forward to our espresso every morning. We enjoyed our private balcony with the most amazing view of Positano!

We just finished our stay at Villa Celentano Apartments and we could not be happier. We had a wonderful view of the sea and the town of Positano. The hospitality was first class - Maria and the two gentleman were very accomodating. Their service included a complementary breakfast, which had plenty of variety and tasted delicious. There were some homemade treats in the selection to top it off. Our family highly recommends Villa Celentano to visitors of Positano.

Absolutely wonderful place in Positano. Maria and her husband are the sweetest people and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Absolutely spotless room with a stunning view from the balcony. Parking just below the property which was also a great help. The property is a good 20 minute walk into the centre/beach but there is so much you pass along the way so an enjoyable walk. Such a shame that we experienced torrential rain during our stay which made us cut it short but we will most definitely return to Positano and look forward to seeing Maria again. Do not hesitate to book this place as it is wonderful.

We had a fantastic time in positano at this villa! Maria and her family were so lovely and welcoming. They booked a transfer for us, had a great value for money breakfast and the accommodation was super clean and had all amenities. Wifi connection was great and the apartments are in a great location and easy to access from the main area. There are some steps to enter the villa however, positano is a city full of steps. The air conditioning worked well and we had a really comfortable stay on a traditional Italian build villa. Would highly recommend this accommodation!

Maria and her husband met and exceeded our expectations. They are so welcoming. It’s a cozy place that feels like home ! We loved the view and the location. It’s so clean ans the couple it’s so helpful in case you need any information or advices !! Don’t hesitate to book

There are two types of accommodation on offer - apartments or rooms. Obviously apartments cost more - we stayed in one of the rooms. The other reviews seem to refer to the apartments. The room itself was quite small but we got used to it quickly and everything else about our stay was great. Our payment plan did not include breakfast but we decided to take breakfast each morning on the beautiful communal balcony and are so glad we did. It was superb and great value for money. Our host Maria was lovely- very friendly and helpful. She even opened early for breakfast to accommodate us on the morning we had to depart. Villa Celentano is set up on the hillside, a very pleasant walk from the centre of Positano in a much more relaxing area. There is a regular town bus available for those who don't fancy the walk uphill. But it's worth exploring higher up the hill where you will come across much less touristy areas and friendly people. I definitely would stay here again
