The Ark Comforts

I had a beautiful experience with my family at The Arc Comforts. Booked Love cottage directly from the website which gives the best deal compared to other sites. Ample parking space available which is just walkable distance from the property. Best part is the location, located right on the beach front with sound and feel of the waves throughout. Smooth check in process, very friendly staff and manager. Rooms were neat and clean and amazing food served at the beach side restaurant. Highly recommended if you looking to just chill and relax on the beach.

The best resort in South Goa hands down. Great food, comfortable rooms and of course outstanding staff. All the staff speak excellent English and provide amazing service. Huge thanks to Roshan, Saurabh and Bharat as they go above and beyond. All of the kitchen staff too, always lovely food and whenever you’d walk past they’d have a smile on their face

Visit with my friends for some chill time .... stayed in hope room the comfort in the room was amazing and the service provided by resto staff saurabh ,roshan , bharat tejas kitchen staff are amazing and i cant forget to mention jess ,mevila and dalisha for their service in my room comfort and housekeeping for their service on one call..

Had an amazing stay at Arks Comforts. Right from the checkin process to ensuring all ad hoc requests ***aged by Mevila, Daliksha and Jess! The restaurant team is fantastic and they take added care in providing things which are even outside the buffet or the menu. This property is worth all the hype :)

We stayed in the “kindness” hut which was beautiful with high windows and so much space. The beach was stunning and just a short walk to Palolem. Staff could not have been more welcoming especially Jess, Roshan and the very helpful security *** Ajay. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday xx

The place is exquisite. The ambiance is amazing. The service is superb. The staff, without exception, are very courteous and extremely responsive. The food is very very tasty. The availability of a private beach enhances the experience. Boat trip arranged in a large boat, with food served on the boat, makes it envious. The long drive required from and to the airport, fades into insignificance, compared to the magnificent overall experience.

Our overall stay was ok, however in the context of the price we paid - the following issues were clear: - Privacy. There wasn’t much. We stayed in Hope, and on the balcony we felt very public - with the people next door constantly walking across the front balcony, and when people are using the pool (including people not staying at Ark, but they either didn’t notice or care) it feels like they are right there with you. As Hope is an adjoining room, we could hear everything from the room next door, not just their loud conversations, 1am phone calls and barking dogs - but we could actually hear them on the toilet - which is a horrible experience! - The website says that the hotel is situated on a private beach. It is not. It is a public beach. Yes it is quieter than the main Palolem beach, but it is not a private beach - the website should not claim that it is. - Sleep. Neither of us slept well due to the amount of light in the room. The curtains are far too thin, and the curtain which separates the bedroom from the entrance hall was too small for the doorway - so light poured through. - Restaurant. The guys in the restaurant were lovely, but during the day in particular were far more interested in watching videos on their phones (on full volume). At one point, we had finished eating and sat with dirty plates in front of us… when a cat jumped up onto the table and started eating the leftovers off our plates, the waiter got up and chased it off - before returning to watching videos on his phone, rather than actually clearing the table!! - Facilities. The room had no real wardrobe space. There are coat hangers above the safe - but not enough space to hang even a shirt. There are two sun loungers below Hope, which were presumably for our use - but they are in direct sunlight and have no shade. The only sitting space was the small uncomfortable rattan sofa on the balcony, which was only just big enough for two people - but not enough to recline and relax. - At one point, while trying to relax and read a book on the balcony - there was a group of guys came to use the pool, and brought a speaker playing very loud dance music. We phoned reception to ask them to turn it off, they didn’t. We phoned reception again to complain, and again were ignored. I asked the security guard who walked past - who just shrugged his shoulders. In the end I had to confront them myself to ask them to turn their music off (we paid good money for peace & quiet and NOT to sit listening to loud dance music like on the main Palolem Beach). All these things are only being raised due to the very expensive price. The location is good and the rooms are lovely, but on their own, that is not enough to justify 5* prices - you need to get all the details right as well. Ultimately this was poor value for money.

What an amazing room, what an amazing food, what an amazing service… You worth all the stars guys! Special thanks to Andi, Jess, Orlando and to some other people whom I don’t remember their names. You have been all really helpful. The hotel is directly in front of the beach. We have been with their boat to a a trip in butterfly beach which was great 🦋 There is a massage place right outside of the reception which was also really good. I really wish to come back! I have worked in Travel for over 30 years and stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world. Unfortunately this is certainly not 5 star.The accommodation and views are beautiful but that is all.we had the family from he'll taking over the chalets about 10 that were really noisy and dirty left rubbish everywhere and the kids were left alone infact the 3 year old nearly fell in the pool.The restaurant served bad food.This is certainly not 5 star and really overpriced would never recommend this and never go back
