I just finished a family trip to Phan Thiet and our choice at the time was Movenpick Resort - mainly because we are so impressed with Movenpick Camranh and Phu Quoc before. The resort is well-designed with pirate themes, the staff is friendly and helpful. The room is also spacious, with a nice balcony. Gym is clean and well equipped. Food and beverages are great also. However, I would not consider a come back to Movenpick Phan Thiet due to these points: 1. The room's AC is super annoying - it runs on auto mode where it stops and runs full speed again every couple minutes. It makes us so annoying and could not get a good sleep. 2. The TV's signal is unstable - lost signal and lost volume quite a lot of times. Had to turn it off and wait for it to come back to normal. 3. Weird choice of sparking water, instead of tap water just like other resort. No offense but sparking water is not a popular choice in Vietnam, so why not giving your customer a chance to choose? For example, 1 bottle of sparkling and the other is the usual tap water? 4. Unfriendly design of the whole resort: - no elevator from the ground, and sadly the ground is where the kid's pool is located, and it's also a restaurant there, but we have to walk through stairs to get to the main lobby. What if we cannot walk? - no electronic cart to travel to nearby attraction points, or at least no staff told us there is any electronic cart of the resort anyway. FYI, the resort is located in Tien Thanh Ward, a quite faraway place where you call a cab and you need to wait at least 15-20 minutes. - Kid's club is so small, playing area is also too small. I know the whole idea is to make a good use of the Nova's ecosystem, where there are the water park and circus land, but listen, those places take at least 5-10 minutes walking, under the direct heat and no supporting cart from the resort - has any of the management think about that for a second? 5. Remote place - where the taxi shall immediately address you to go to Phan Thiet city (12km away). So if you don't ride your own car to the resort, it will be an issue to consider. That's how awkward I feel after this trip - and the whole my family shared the same feeling. Thus, I would not consider this resort for the next time I travel to Muine or Phan Thiet.

Incredible hotel! Beautiful setting, huge rooms, cleaned to perfection and friendly and attentive staff! We were lucky enough to arrive when the hotel was very quiet so had the main pool to ourselves for the first day and then only a handful of people on the second. The breakfast is delicious and I couldn’t get enough of their French toast and Vietnamese coffee! So much choice - delicious salami too. The trip was for my birthday and I arrived to a happy birthday message in my room and a cake delivered at turn down. Such a wonderful extra that was unexpected and extremely thoughtful. Highly recommend staying here!

โรงแรมแนะนํา เราสั่งวิลล่าริมทะเล ห้องใหญ่พอ ห้องน้ําเปิดโล่งมาก เขียวขจีดี มีชายหาดส่วนตัวของโรงแรม ไปทะเลสะดวกมาก เด็กๆชอบมาก สปาของโรงแรมก็ดีมากทําให้คนรู้สึกผ่อนคลายแม้ว่าราคาจะแพงกว่าข้างนอกเล็กน้อย แต่สภาพแวดล้อมก็สะดวกสบายกว่าถนนด้านนอก อาหารเช้าของโรงแรมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง มีให้เลือกไม่มากนัก แต่คุณสามารถกินได้ สระว่ายน้ํามีสองสระ หนึ่งเป็นของผู้ใหญ่เพื่อหลีกเลี่ยงการรบกวนเด็ก ๆ ในการพักผ่อนที่เงียบสงบ ข้อเสียคืออาจมีแมลงตัวเล็ก ๆ น้อย ๆ ในห้อง แต่โดยรวมไม่ได้รับผลกระทบ

This small boutique resort surpassed our expectations with excellent service, food and comfort. The pool, which overlooked the beautiful bay, was inviting, clean and well cared for. Our room was spacious and very clean, included all the amenities we needed. On arrival we were greeted by beautiful, smiling staff who did very well conversing in English. They looked after us very well for the 5 days we stayed. Massages were great and inexpensive, the food was delicious and the service was lovely. This place should be commended for the pleasant and enthusiastic staff. The one (big) downside was that the beach was unavailable for use. The severe damage and erosion from recent storms meant they had to install those unsightly massive sandbags to reconstruct the beach. The reconstruction was very loud and distracting on and off for a few days, however the staff were very apologetic and the work needs to be done fast, so it was out of their hands. I feel that we should have been forewarned and given the option to move to a different resort. It DID NOT change the great, relaxing time we had at the resort though.

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel Overall the facilities are second to none and the staff is really friendly. But there were some things that surprised us a bit. Example 1 Upon arrival we got the opportunity to pay 30 % upfront. If we didn’t do that, we didn’t have the opportunity to put drinks, food etc. on the room, but we would instead have to pay cash (or credit card) each time. We asked why, but we didn’t really get an explanation about why that was the policy. We have never tried to pay deposit like that on a 5 star hotel before. Example 2 As mentioned earlier there are nothing to put on the staff. They are super service minded, polite and friendly. But when we are at a hotel like this, we expected the staff to at least speak some English. Of course some of them spoke ok English, but in general we used a lot of pictures and Google translate, just to be able to communicate properly. Example 3 Mini bar selection. When you open the freeze in the room it is empty. So the concept is that you shall contact them every time you want something. The selection was a little poor in our opinion. For instance no chips, Oreos etc, but just mainly something to drink.

The resort is all extensive that you do not even need to leave the resort. The location itself is great if you want to have a quiter retreat, away from the bustling of Mui Ne. It takes about 15 - 20 minutes drive to central Mui Ne. Though, everything is here and you can spend days without going out. Every morning, I am awaken by the birds chirping and sounds of the crickets instead of the hustling and bustling of the city or traffic so this is good. I find that the staff were extremely helpful, breakfast was great and the guest relation officers who are always ever-willing to provide some insights. Their tours are somewhat comparable to outside prices (especially for a personalised one as compared to shared tours). There is a lift directly opposite to my room, and I could hear people drunkenly walking to the lift or talking while waiting for it. The resort has predominently European tourists who at times could be rowdy and difficult as they kept cutting me when I wanted to check-in disallowing the receptionist to focus on me. Nevertheless, the treatment provided by the staff are the same. I only have one major issue where I had booked a massage and the masseuse waited in the room for me to undress instead of allowing me time to prepare myself which is the norm. There were also no drinks (as per normal customs) provided after the massage for a resort that is of such high luxury.
