I can’t say enough good things about my stay at this incredible homestay on Dongshan Island—it’s hands down one of the best accommodation experiences I’ve ever had, and I’m already counting down the days until I can come back. From the breathtaking sea views to the thoughtful, attentive service, every single detail made my trip unforgettable, and I’m so glad I chose this homestay for my island getaway. First and foremost, the seaview here is absolutely stunning, beyond anything I could have imagined. The homestay boasts an unbeatable location with unobstructed views of the endless blue sea, and I spent every spare moment just admiring the ocean, both morning and night. Waking up early to watch the soft golden sunrise glisten over the water, with gentle waves lapping against the shore, was the most peaceful way to start each day. As the sun set, the sky painted itself in warm hues of orange and pink, reflecting beautifully on the sea, creating a romantic and serene scene that took my breath away. Even at night, the quiet glow of the moon on the water and the soft sound of waves made the view just as magical. I took countless beautiful photos during my stay, and every snapshot perfectly captures the mesmerizing beauty of this place—no filter could ever do the real scenery justice. What surprised me most is that the homestay is even more beautiful in person than the online photos. When I booked the room online, the pictures looked lovely, but I didn’t expect the actual space to exceed my expectations by such a large margin. Excellent view for the room we chosen. Looking around for many homestay end up choosing this because no blocking of the sea view and can’t see other roof top. Owner picked us from the didi drop off point and also sent us out. He recommended us to rent an electric scooter to travel around which is great. Location is convenient within walking distance to many attractions.

The hotel is located in a village about 15 minutes drive from Nanmen bay. First we were concerned because the village didn't look like a ”tourist friendly” place. But when we had arrived, all our concerns disappeared. The place is very quiet and chill unlike the hussle and bussle of hotels near the beach. The hotel is a renovated traditional Chinese house. All facilities are new, clean and made with a good taste and attention to the details. What you definitely don't expect to find in the old Chinese village is an electronic toilet that greets you by opening the lid when you coming into the bathroom. 😁 The room was clean, smelled very good and the linings and towels were superb 5 stars level quality. The breakfast is simple (Chinese traditional) but fulfilling and tasty. There are complimentary coffee drip bags in each room and also a coffee machine in the bar area. The owner of this hotel is a professional traveler. He told us a lot about his trips all over the China and abroad and showed his photo works. He also designed ans made some furniture in the hotel by himself. I helped him to take some photos for the hotel which you can find below 👇 Absolutely recommend this place for staying!

The hotel is just 1 minute walk to the most beautiful beach on the island of Dong Shan. In the apartment, you can hear the waves and unblocked views of the sea. Mini-mart within the apartment compound. Short drive to the famous old town and night market. Can easily book DiDi and cab. Relaxing stay with good view from the huge balcony.
