This is a most extraordinary hotel. The rooms are grand spaces, lavishly decorated, beautifully furnished, bright and airy by day and solidly dark at night, and above all, they are quiet and comfortable. The grounds are positively magical. They are beautifully landscaped and every room has an outdoor seating area to enjoy the space. Best of all, everywhere you look there are imaginatively arranged displays of artwork and of area crafts- pottery, sculpture, embroidered and woven pieces. The hosts and staff are helpful- even anticipatory- and I concur with the many comments that speak to the beautiful breakfasts (and the tray of tea and cake that’s delivered to your room when you return from a day’s outing). It was a special and memorable stay at the Casa de la Real Aduana.
