We like a few nights off the tent here and there and this was the perfect place to do it, especially as the weather was a bit crappy and we fancied a day of rest. The rooms were comfortably furnished, the bed and the bedding comfortable, good hot water in the shower and decent towels. A great place to hang around on the sofa, watch tv, read and do some self catering with a full size fridge, a cooktop and related equipment available. There’s also a laundry and bbq area for guest use. The location is great being right in the middle of the island, midway between points of interest on the north and south coasts and the west if you don’t mind a bit of driving. Town has a bottle shop, pub, general store, fresh meat, two cafes and fuel. A great stop.
