I was booked into one of the Villa Suites, and it was an experience in itself. The suite was beautifully appointed, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, blending elegance with comfort in a way that felt both indulgent and homely. Every detail from the plush furnishings to the serene garden views contributed to a sense of effortless relaxation. It truly felt like a private sanctuary.
The service throughout my stay was impeccable. Staff members were warm, attentive, and intuitive without ever being intrusive. Whether it was assistance with luggage, dining recommendations, or simply a friendly check‑in to ensure everything was perfect, the team consistently delivered with professionalism and charm.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met, including a special favor of allowing me to leave my suitcase while I was away on the safari. UUzanele_nI loved everything about this hotel. I got drinks menu on arrival which was served free of charge, wasn’t expecting that in South Africa🤪🤪
Check in was super quicknand smooth, beautiful room with proper amenities. The hotel is in a good location sorrounded by nature. The services was 10/10, with super friendly and helful staff. I was impressed by the breakfast options and the restaurant itself….stunning and aesthetically pleasing.
I didn’t like their cocktails menu🥺🥺 they don’t have classic ones. 90% of their cocktails are made with sminorf 18/18 which isn’t cool.
Overall, this is a great hotel and would definitely come back!

DDeborah-AnneI have stayed at the Quatermain before, and I am happy to say that the whole experience was once again just lovely! I had arrived VERY early on my check-in day and the staff made sure that I had a room well before the scheduled check-in time AND they upgraded me too!
The staff at the hotel are friendly, helpful and all round just a delight!! Even with the ongoing challenges that loadshedding (scheduled power outtages) brings to the smooth operation of any business.
The gardens are immaculate and tranquil, and it is unbelievable to think you are in the middle of everything with the peace and quiet that pervades.
The little bistro / restaurant's menu is thankfully limited, as it means that the quality can be assured and anything that is made tastes deliciously homemade. The evening buffet is very good value for money!
Just a small note that due to loadshedding, sometimes the email/booking system gives some issues - so don't forget to just follow up once booked :)

ผผู้เข้าพักI stayed here for two weeks. There was daily cleaning which was great. The room was clean and cozy and had everything I could need. The hotel was simple, nothing to complain about. The staff were great and friendly all the time. Some neighbors were loud but nothing to be scared of as I felt safe at all times. Unfortunately there was construction during my whole stay, but they were friendly too and kept the dust at a minimum. It was also a 5 minute Uber to Sandton which was a plus. I would definitely stay here again, especially for a long term stay.
