Globales Mimosa

This is is a great hotel nice location. Rooms are good a bit small. We were on the second floor with a view of the fans and pipes from the kitchen and the smell of cooking every day was not pleasant we could also look onto the lower roof and see all the used vapes and discarded socks etc. The food was not great as it was lukewarm and repetitive. This was the start of the season and the staff were grumpy and unfriendly especially at the pool bar. The food here was unsafe as burgers were left out still a bit frozen to heat in the container when one of the cooks was approached about this he suggested he could heat it through on the grill. Never was a probe used and food was left unattended with a dove flying in and eating of a pizza that was waiting to go in to the oven This dove flew into the food area on a number of occasions. The bar staff at night were excellent. The entertainment was below par. The entertainment crew tried their best especially Matty. After speaking to a few other guests who said they will not be returning neither will we. Worst lifts of any hotel we have ever stayed at very small and slow inadequate for a hotel of this size.

Bags stolen from luggage room on our departure day ! Staff could not care less about this and would not even call the police for us . They tell you to where to store your bags but they don’t inform you that they have to be put into lockers witch you have to pay for , almost feels like a set up . We rang a few days after to ask about the camera footage and the manager said on the cameras there isn’t anything out of the ordinary on the footage ? I’m not sure if hat kind of answer that is but it’s definitely an answer that tells me they couldn’t care less and were never planning on investing the situation so long story short don’t go here because your belongings are not safe if you read down to the other reviews you will see the same thing happened to lots of people so just sharing the experience hopefully it saves someone’s else going threw the same thing .

Just back from a 4 night stay: Pros: Lovely pool area with plenty of sunbeds. Pool bar serving snacks and drinks for most of the day. Rooms cleaned daily and towels changed as well. Hotel clean generally speaking. Rooms are a good size with plenty of storage and a nice balcony with table and chairs to enjoy the view Cons : Not much variety of food in the restaurant particularly for the evening meal, drinks quality was poor and as there were only 5 free cocktails to choose from on the menu it meant if you wanted a pina colada or pornstar martini etc you were paying at least 6 euros 10, not good when it's All Inclusive, especially as it's shown as 4 star, really! no chance, 3 star at best. Lifts not very big and quite slow to arrive, we were on the 9th floor so we did need them No toiletries except for soap dispenser in the bathroom and no tea or coffee making facilities, very disappointed as it would have been nice to have a coffee early morning on the balcony before breakfast Overall we enjoyed our girlie break,the weather was lovely but to sum it up we definitely would not go back

Loved the interconnecting room, makes such a difference for a family of 5! All inclusive was poor, food always the same and who wants chips and pizza offered all day at the pool?! Toasties were out on occasion. Ice cream wasn’t part of snacks, drinks ok but limited to 2 at a time depending who you were and who served you. Rooms clean and towels changed regularly. Felt some staff a bit off at times Was a nice hotel and in good location We went out everyday but like having all inclusive as a back up but didn’t use it the way we usually do so would go self catering if returning. Pool cleared and closed for 6 which was a little early but other places are similar. Could usually get a sun bed but people did leave towels out a long time and not be there.

14 of us just arrived home for a friend's 40th the hotel is spotless, rooms cleaned and fresh towels daily,food is OK a bit repetitive but there's a wide selection and it's well presented ,theres also snack bar with pizza, burgers hot dogs chips etc staff are very helpful and the two girls who organise entertainment are amazing,the lifts are a bit slow at peak times but it wasn't an issue,entertainment could be a bit better maybe a live band ,all in all I would return as its well worth what we paid.room 432

Firstly theft After being out for the day we returned to the room to notice some euros missing from the bedside table, then checking the purses that we had forgot from the night before which had minimal euros in, the euros were all missing, looking around all our bags and the zips had been opened and some loose cigarettes and a bottle of perfume had gone. Petty making yourself a thief for what was taken, just glad we had our main purses and electronics on our person during the day. Management did check the log of the door card and the only person to enter the room was one of our party (mother, 2 daughters and granddaughter) and the maid who she assured me she trusted completely. Rooms We’re great, we had interconnected rooms for the 4 of us, plenty of space and shelves, after the theft we told the maid no cleaning today - when she entered the room around 9am, 3 of us went to breakfast and the maid come back in the room to be met by one of our party who said we said no cleaning they then just tried to close the connected door which she was told to open, after mentioning this to the manager she said some of the maids don’t speak English… I’m sorry but surely a maid knows “No cleaning” She was told no cleaning the following day but still entered the room 😡 And no I didn’t think of hiring the safe to put in my clothes, shoes, perfumes, face creams etc, my room should be safe it has a locked door at the end of the day. The pool Ridiculous after nearly 3 days of rain, the sun finally made and appearance at around 5pm, the poolside started to fill up then we were ordered by the lifeguard at 5:55 to leave at 6 because it needed to be cleaned, the sun was blaring at this time (see pic) Never in all my travels have I had to vacate the poolside so early, turned out by 6:30 they would come and start hosing by the pool area, but then they also hosed it down on a morning 🤷🏻‍♀️ The poolside bar had been closed Sunday and Monday and on Monday afternoon when the rain stopped it was pleasant enough to sit by the pool yet they wouldn’t open the pool bar because it was too windy 🤦🏽‍♀️ Wednesday it was extremely windy and the pool bar was open and the upstairs bar was closed (making it up as they go along) Basically you get one bar or the other 🙄 Lifts are atrocious… they would close on you and are very dangerous, bruising my mams hand as she stopped them closing on her, they were also very small and very temperamental, highest floor and lowest floor guaranteed you to get in, they then stopped on every floor but people no longer there. Restaurant Food was average for all inclusive; was slightly disappointed that you could only get wine or pop with your meal unless you went to the bar on whichever floor was open that day! Food was removed quickly at the end of the session. (Wouldn’t recommend arriving 5 mins before closing) The food was ok at the snack bar but the chips were always freezing. All in all I wouldn’t return to this hotel as I like relax and enjoy the

We have just come back from the globales mimosa and we wouldn’t go there again We were all inclusive for 4 nights and on arrival we were charged 48 euros (10 euro was refunded as a deposit) for a safe and a further 15 euro for early check in (we were 20 mins early) The hotel is decorated lovely and the rooms are clean but the food is terrible if you don’t like pork then you are going hungry as it was pork on all 4 days of our stay! there was chicken as well but it was undercooked so I wouldn’t eat it again there ,also if you want a beer with your dinner you have to pay even if you are all inclusive There was only 4 alcoholic cocktails you could pick from if you wanted any other cocktails you had to pay as well The snack bar food looked nice but we watched a dove land on a pizza that was ready to go into the oven and eat all the cheese of it, the chef did chuck that one out but it put us off as it was all open where the snack food was. Overall it I would not stay again

We stayed here as a group of 12 ladies for our 40th Birthdays. Check in was speedy and our rooms were lovely and clean. The Food was excellent, a great variety and good quality. Drinks were good. You are limited to 2 drinks per person at a time but this was fine. The bar staff were friendly Cleaners came in every day and refreshed towels. The area was great, beach, plenty of bars and shops near by. We all felt safe enough in the area to walk out alone if we wanted. I think you would struggle if you had a wheelchair as the lifts are tiny. We had a great time and for what we paid it was excellent value for money. We used the luggage storage with no issues. The hotel were very helpful and printed our boarding cards and they allowed us to use the all inclusive until we left for our flight home. We had a great time here and made some great memories with friends.

Good: We had an interconnecting room for our family of 5 with plenty of space, storage etc views from our balcony were lovely. Food was a bit repetitive after a week but ok. kids (10,13,16) mostly ate pizza and chips as they did not like the meats on offer (lots of fish and pork). Most of the time, the drinks machines were out of order or missing drinks at meal times. Clean hotel (eg pool area) Mostly quiet at night, not too many disturbances. Close to beach, shops and restaurants. The beach is beautiful and clean - we went almost every day of our holiday. A few issues fixed promptly (Aircon/TV not working, broken cupboard door) - although the TV did stop working again a couple of days later but we couldn't be bothered reporting it again. Bad: Maids took key cards from our room on two separate occasions - no idea why they would do this but our cards were left on the bedside table on first occasion and in the slot for lights/Aircon on the second occasion and when we returned to our room they were gone - the only person who had been in was the maid. Tried to tell reception staff but they just asked if we wanted more cards. Entertainment was poor and sometimes geared towards French guests. We often went back to room early or out to the main ***** for a walk. Lounge area too small for guests, really cramped. Queue for drinks too long, only two staff serving and could only get two drinks per person so would need 3 of us to go up for our family of five. Lots of french guests who barged in front of food and lift queues. Lifts - only 3 small lifts serving 11 floors (and mobile people on lower floors using lifts instead of walking!) Always walked down from our 6th floor room but very hard to walk up especially after a day at the beach etc so often had to wait up to 10 mins for a lift. Difficult to get sun loungers as there was five of us and most people had put towels on them in morning then disappeared. Ants in our room, tended to see them at night and maybe only 5-10 at a time but felt a bit dirty. This was near end of the week, so perhaps a deeper clean needed mid-stay? Overall, a nice hotel but we would not return.
