At Orewa Beachcomber all our units are beautifully presented with touches of home and we cater for private or corporate guests. All rooms come with cooking facilities, their own bathrooms, lounge, dining tables and chairs (which can be utilized as a workstation, meeting table etc if required) unlimited WIFI, Sky TV and a guest laundry on-site.
Within 5 mins flat walk from our facility, we have 2 x supermarkets, a host of great restaurants/cafes, chemists and various retailers.

We had a great stay here for 4 nights, the rooms were super comfortable with unique decor in each room. It was very handy to beautiful beach and shops. The hosts were excellent- welcoming and very accommodating. We would love to stay here again and thoroughly recommend it.

Great place to stop when driving from Auckland to the Bay of Islands. Spacious, very comfortable, and clean. Well-appointed with lovely eye for detail. Friendly and informative welcome by Donna-Marie, excellent location across the road from a beautiful beach and only a few minutes' walk from the town centre. Able to park directly outside our room, good for getting luggage in and out.

Checked in overnight on our way up to Ahipara. Like the Bolton and Tauranga on the Waterfront it has been refurbished but in a baroque slightly kitschy style. It was pretty spacious, clean and had everything you needed for a comfy stay. However there is no vanity bench as such to put anything on. The Hibiscus Highway is busy all day and all night but there is double glazing to lessen the impact. It is quiet enough to sleep with everything closed but would not be restful during the day if you want to sit outside. The beach is across the road and shops and restaurants are an easy stroll away.

This was only a stop over to break journey from Bay of Islands to Coromandel so we didnt see much of town. However owner v helpful: gave recommendations for dinner. Room plenty large enough with good facilities. We were on first floor but could park car virtually outside.About 3/4 mile from main restaurant/bar/cafe part of town. Plenty of choice there. Beach ( flat , shallow and long) is just across road and worth a stroll

Beware, bookings are interpreted by thier management, do not pay upfront they will take your money, non refundable because 'they' deside what you should have, not what you book!! they are not to be trusted, and wil lie thier way into taking your money, booking made through *********** Reception could not be found behind the scaffolding and construction materials. discusting management attitude and misleading. receptionist unable to understand computer bookings. Recommend the Remada hotel orewa-perfect..

Gorgeous, boutique accomodation - highly recommend!! Each room is beautifully styled, with very comfy beds and all the amenities you need. Its both near the beach & near some lovely cafes & restaurants.... Have stayed twice now and will be back :)

Comfortable and great location. Sleeps 4 in two separate area. Good facilities. Close to shops. Good selection in the bathroom. Huge tv with on demand programs. the management are very friendly and laid back. I would stay here again when next in the area

5/5. Prime location and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble even when I phoned after hours. Would highly recommend staying here. Excellent off street parking and the room was well appointed and clean. Situated directly across from the beach and close to cafes.

Been to the Beachcomber a few times and it our go to place in Orewa, very central and has off road parking. Even with being close to the main road it is till quite considering the double glazing and block construction you don’t hear much. Only down side is the shower head needs to be replaced in the “African room” Was great to be upgraded in this visit which was very pleasant and nice to see the owners continual effort to improve the hotel with changes and upgrades
