Booked to go to Nerja 3 wks ago for a week &just back & we stayed at Las Rosas De Capistrano. The apartment was very clean & we had lovely views to the hills/we were above supermarket but as we spent very little time in apartment it wasn't a problem.Everyone was so friendly.Alex from the pool Bar was so pleasant & went out of his way to look after us.The place was quiet for April.Weather was Fabulous/Nerja was beautiful. WE WILL BE BACK

I would have preferred higher apt as I had a ground floor one... Tbh as I was on my own. I made sure my gate and door were always locked. I had a safe. Thank goodness as I have just read there was a robbery during the night of 3 March.... The pool was open, but no bar service yet. The shower I have reported to Jet2... The base was uneven and slippery.. Not good at all and needs replacing with a porcelain one and a shower mat. Maria and Rafael very pleasant staff.

Unfortunately we can only give 1 star to these apartments which is a pity because they are clean, spacious and in a good location. The reason for the 1 star is that we were burgled while we were in bed asleep. The intruders got in through the patio doors. They stole money and personal items. At 78 years old what would the outcome have been if we had woken up and confronted them. The reception is only open limited times so spent the next day informing management the holiday company insurance and the Police. WARNING staying here in the ground floor apartments. Never go out or in another room with your outside blinds partially open. This allows easy access through the patio doors even though locked. A simple cheap dead lock fitted to the inside of the patio door would prevent anyone gaining access. We have visited Nerja many times in the past and never felt unsafe. But pick pockets and theft from holiday makers is now rife.

We enjoyed our stay at las Rosas de Capistrano. The apartment was well equipped, comfortable and with a large patio at front. We had asked for a room on an upper floor with a double bed but on arrival we were allocated a room on the ground floor with two single beds. We requested a room change and we were then offered a different ground floor apartment but with a double bed and patio doors/windows in the bedroom. We were happy with this and really enjoyed our ten days stay. Two supermarkets conveniently just around the corner. The town bus stop is also two minutes walk from doorstep. It was January when we stayed and the main pool was open. It was not warm enough weather for swimming but we enjoyed chilling by the pool area especially as our apartment did not get the sun till late afternoon. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return but with prior knowledge would request a different apartment probably on floor 1 or 2 if available.

My second time to La Rosa and couldn't fault it one bit. I found Mattea and Alexandra at the pool extremely nice and attentive when I needed help with something wrong with my car.... Although they didn't need to do this . The comment below must of been the wrong place as the bar staff was one of the best I've experienced. I will be coming back here for the third time very soon due to the overall customer satisfaction. It's also walking distance away from beach and the center is no far at all. 5* plus for everything and everyone that works here.

I have been going to these apartments for over 5 years its a really lovely place to stay. The reception staff are brilliant. When Daniella and Eduardo managed the pool bar we used it every day. I was very sad to see them leave. I no longer use the pool bar as I find the new staff unfriendly and both myself and my son were short changed. I was charged 8.50 euro and I was given change as if I had paid using a ten euro note but i paid with a 20 euro note I did not notice straight away so just felt robbed of ten euros no great loss I know but this may be happening to many. My son then went and purchased drinks and he was short changed exactly the same way but he noticed straight away and bought it to the bar tenders notice who apologised and give him the correct change. Just make sure you check your change if you purchase from here. I love La Rosas but unfortunately the pool bar was a bad experience and we will not ever use it again my 5 stars are for La Rosas and not for the pool bar.

2nd visit to Las Rosas. Another fabulous stay. Great location and facilities. On site snack bar is a must, to those very hot days. Accommodation was just what we needed and the air con was a must, given we maxed out at 38 degrees C. We'll be back......................

we stayed here for 6 nights as part of a wedding party could not recommend it enough for somewhere to relax and soak up the sun . apartments and the grounds of are just so lovely and so clean . cocktails and food at the poolside bar are 10 out of 10 ... bed are a tad bit hard but I think a lot of places are similar.. really recommend for families looking for a quite place to be wit kids 😀 really modern decor and clean and spacious room with necessary amenities within walking distance 😀
