"This accommodation is a converted ordinary building located in a busy alley, making it somewhat ambiguous to call it a hotel. There is a desk at the entrance, and only one staff member is present. Although the location is in the middle of a busy district and is noisy, it is convenient, and the facilities are clean and tidy. However, the Deluxe Double Room on the second floor with a balcony faces directly across from the balcony of the building opposite, so there is no privacy. If you open the curtains, you can see the room of the apartment across the street, so you cannot open the curtains. Nevertheless, it is a clean, newly built, small hotel."

"I decided to use 2 rooms, but they assigned me rooms on 2 floors in between;; The facilities are clean and the location is really good However, the bathroom on the 1st floor where I stayed was really spacious and the room condition was the best. However, when entering and exiting each room, I had to hear the sound of doors slamming and people coming and going all night long, startling me I think it's not a matter of people's habits, but of the structural problems of the doors and soundproofing. Also, if you open the window curtains, you might make eye contact with people passing byㅎ"

"Stayed in the hotel tobosso chaperil nerja for a week this is a nice small friendly hotel in a great location close to the famous balcon de europa. The reception staff were very nice and helpful check in was quick and easy the hotel is very clean. Room cleaned daily clean towels every day hotel has a lovely roof top pool area with a great view good breakfast selection there is also a nice little bar next door for drinks and tapas and a supermarket nearby. We loved it and would definitely return and recommend to others x"

"Ok so I have given this hotel a 3 out of 5 because i am trying to be fair. It is a budget hotel and you therefore need to have realistic expectations. For example, the hotel itself is a little tired and needs updating and the gym equipment is poor quality, but it is clean. The reception staff were all first class. Very helpful and very friendly. The hotel is a little out from the main village but we like that, however it’s a steep climb back up from the beach (which is good if you want to get some exercise). Now for the bad stuff. We stayed in room 241 which is just beyond the main seating and bar area. We knew we had booked a budget room but we were led to believe it is considered a budget room because it had no balcony. They forget to tell us about the noise levels. Even without any music playing, the noise of people chatting when it was busy was unreal . If you fancy an afternoon nap or an early night (before 10.30) then forget it as it’s too loud to sleep. And when the live music is on it sounds like the singer is in the bedroom with you. The worst part of our stay by far was the food. Poor variety, poor quality and poor quantity. Totally inedible. We made sure we had our main meal of the day in the village at lunch time because we knew we would eat very little at dinner. On one evening I simply had some ice cream because the choice was so bad. For breakfast, we usually had fresh fruit (pineapple and melon) followed by fried eggs on toast however you had to get there early because going at 9.15 meant there was no fruit left and the eggs were swimming in grease and the yolk had gone hard. We therefore had toast that morning. If the food had been better with more choice, it would have made a difference to our stay Overall, not a bad place but I strongly suggest eating out"

"I have thought long and hard about writing this review but I feel the recent reviews on the Welcome Inn are fanciful and not truthful. For a start it is a long way from Nerja town and we spent over €40 per day on taxis. You really need a car as the B & B (which is what it is) is situated up a very long, twisty and steep hill. There are no shops/supermarkets nearby so the owners really have a captive audience for their overpriced and limited choice of drinks and snacks. We only drink Rose wine and asked if we could store a bottle in their drinks fridge and were told no, there is no fridge in the room. There are signs up stating that no "picnics" are allowed in common areas, i.e. the pool area, so realistically you cannot bring in your own snacks. The wifi only works in the main areas, not in the bedrooms or on your balcony so you have no privacy when making calls etc. The towels and bedding will not be changed during your stay. No glasses are provided in your room. The breakfast provided was basic with no choice, you got what you were given. No water was provided, we had to ask for some. The Welcome Inn is overpriced and in an area with no facilities."
