Nice location, without too many hills (which can be a problem in Nerja) and a nice pool. However, they need to sort out a number of issues to make our particular apar**ent (no 62b) more appealing for a return visit. 1) Of the 27 Apar**ents we have stayed at in Nerja over many years, this was the worst equipped - booked it for 3 people and there were 3 side plates, 3 tumblers, 3 wine glasses, 5 tea spoons, 3 cups, only two saucepans (which means you can't cook a meat dish, vegetables and potatoes at the same time (made worse as one of us had to cook vegetarian main course), no useable spare bedding and went out and bought an extra pillow having been told the agent couldn't provide any. I also bought 3 more wine glasses! 2) Despite staying for 18 days, there is no cleaning or laundry service provided (unlike other apar**ents), and no spare bedding or towels for when you wash your sheets/ towels and wait for them to dry (must be very difficult in winter months!) 3) No sunbeds/ poolside chairs provided and none allowed on the grass next to the pool. A parasol is hidden in the cupboard but no base in which to use it and no hole in the patio table to take it. 4) Too much emphasis on rules to follow, and no helpful information or instructions provided about the equipment, the apar**ent or the area. Luckily, we have lived in the area but for newcomers this would be very useful. 5) Slow support and poor communication from the agent - promises made but rarely kept. It took several calls to arrange access to property, which in the end we were told to let ourselves into via the key safe. Despite booking for 3 people, there was no bedding/ towels provided for the sofa bed - and took 3 days and another phone call before they arrived. Washing machine broke down and got the impression we were an inconvenience when we reported it (2 days before anyone came) and same when hot water boiler failed for last couple of days This could provide a nice holiday home in a convenient location, just needs to be better equipped and guests need to be better informed and supported.
