Me and my husband are currently staying at this hotel-going home tomorrow. We booked an all inclusive holiday via TUI. This is predominantly a German hotel, I think we were the only British people staying there. First the positives, The hotel is spotless, you see people constantly cleaning, and alcohol hand sanitizer is positioned in the door way of the dining room which I liked (although I didn’t see many people using it). Our bedroom was also cleaned every day to a good standard. The staff all seem lovely, greeting you with a smile and nod whenever you walk past or ask for something. The pool is small, but there was no sun-bed wars as the hotel did not seem very busy due to the start of the season I presume. The bedroom is adequate with plenty of room for your clothes and the bathroom has a really powerful shower and hot! Unfortunately the negatives massively outweigh the positives. Mainly to do with the food and drink and the dreaded bed. The room we were in, was two single beds pushed together and made up separately. I have never been in a bed that was literally ROCK hard. It has been horrendous trying to get some sleep. It feels like you are sleeping on pallets and that is no exaggeration. I cannot wait to get home.To only sleep a couple of hours each night is awful, just awful. The bathroom is a little strange, you have a frosted glass door with gaps on either side and no lock. Ok I suppose if you are with your partner, but if you are with a friend you can hear EVERYTHING which may be embarrassing. Regarding the dining experience, I read all the reviews on Trip Advisor, as the food is the biggest reason we pick a hotel. All the reviews were amazing and the reason why we booked. All I can say is that I honestly do not know who has written these comments. I was gutted. Very limited choices with the meals, and although the chef had an open kitchen and everything seemed to be freshly cooked, the food was extremely bland and lukewarm. I struggled to find anything that I liked, and I am not a picky eater. I survived all week on mostly fruit and potatoes. The only time I would have lost weight on an all inclusive holiday. I have a massive sweet tooth, but all the sweets were the kind that have artificial cream and are bought in bulk. A suggestion would be to have two or three good quality deserts instead of a large choice of cheaply made ones. The alcoholic drinks were a huge disappointment. I only drink when I go on holiday, which is usually one or two cocktails at the most. But the cocktails were pre made from a machine and they were awful! Extremely sweet, hardly any alcohol and with a really odd aftertaste. I ended up just drinking coffee and soft drinks throughout the holiday. One of the strangest rules the hotel enforces is that when you are sitting outside near the pool, enjoying your ‘drink’ in the evening, you cannot smoke. Now I don’t smoke but my husband does, and when he wanted a cigarette he had to abandon his drin
