Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Murfreesboro

Don’t let the outside or surroundings fool you. I pulled up and was convinced I didn’t make the right choice despite seeing good reviews. Once I walked in, my mind was put to ease. It was a solid stay for one night. My room was clean, check-in and out was a breeze. The staff were friendly.

Ok for the price with the exception of the television. Worked only for a few stations (not any network station). The hotel front desk person tried his hardest to deal with the problem, but he was working alone and trying to check guests in and solve the TV problems at the same time.

The smell was overpowering the free breakfast was minimal no hot food front desk guys lazy and rude

Room was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was a few pastries and most everything was gone before 7:30AM and no one restocked anything. Overall it was a decent hotel for one night stay.

This was our second stay at this hotel. The room was clean and employees were friendly. The breakfast was typical fare, waffle maker, dry cereal, bagel/bread

There was a strong odor in the hallway. Really strong- like incense or spices When I went through the lobby- seemed that there were people hanging out in there that didn’t have rooms there. Breakfast selection wasn’t good. Wouldn’t stay here again.

This was a bizarre experience. Arriving in early evening, I honestly wondered if the hotel was even open. Lights were turned off in much of the lobby area except for the front desk. The attendant was in the public restroom (which I desperately needed to use). The room was okay but nothing special. Trying to get an early start in the morning, I went to get a to-go cup of coffee and they didn’t have lids to fit the coffee cups. Had to pick up a cup of coffee at a gas station. What really disappointed me is that user ratings in the Hotel app ranked this hotel at 8.4! Not even close!

We arrived at 9pm and not a soul in sight. Lobby was partially dark. I rang the bell and no one came. Rang it again ten minutes later and no one came. I finally texted the ******* concierge and about a minute later a young man in casual attire popped out from a room, I think. He went behind the desk and waited for me. Very friendly, but I wasn’t sure at first he worked there. I was asked to have my credit card on file in case I left any damage to the room. Made me a little nervous because I’d never had another hotel do this. The breakfast buffet was not the standard you get most places. No eggs. Nothing made hot. Just a few cold items. The pool was out of service. Weird hard pillows. I could feel the mattress springs in my back. Rough towels. The room was clean, but getting run down. A strong spicy smell, like cheap cologne, in areas was giving me a headache. The room was clean and orderly and the front desk person was friendly, however I got the impression he was the only person working there.

The hotel was fine for the price and my purpose: I was there for my daughter’s soccer tournament and it was close to the fields. However, I prefer a location that has sidewalks to walk to the nearby shops. Here you felt like you were walking in an industrial park.
