This hotel truly takes customer service to a whole new level of incompetence and indifference. Allow me to share the horrifying details of my experience. First and foremost, there was no phone available to contact the reception. Instead, the ***ager provided his WhatsApp number, which turned out to be utterly useless. Despite countless attempts to reach out for assistance, the ***ager never bothered to pick up the phone or reply to any of my messages. It's as if they intentionally want to isolate guests and leave them to fend for themselves. To add insult to injury, even for basic necessities like water, guests were required to trek all the way to the reception through the property. But here's the kicker—there were absolutely no lights ***** the path. It's baffling that a hotel would overlook such a fundamental part. Now, let's talk about the issue of food, which was a major problem at Olive Brook. Despite paying for our stay and breakfast, the staff refused to serve anything beyond their fixed timings (even if we want to pay and buy breakfast from them). We arrived late last night and woke up at 10 AM, only to be told that the kitchen is closed until lunchtime, which is a staggering three hours away. This is especially infuriating considering the hotel's secluded location. When guests are situated far away from any alternative dining options, the least the staff could do is provide basic sustenance. The lack of consideration and flexibility regarding meal service is indicative of Olive Brook's complete disregard for their guests' needs. It's as if they prioritize their own convenience over providing a satisfactory experience. On the second night, one of the interns (as he calls himself, while arguing with guests for hours about what is the protocol and how the world is supposed to work), refused to let us have packaged water bottles at 10 PM because as per him we were coming back late to the hotel, and in case we needed water, we should have called the hotel staff by 9 pm to inform the same. WATER!!!! In summary, Olive Brook is a hotel plagued by unresponsive, stubborn, and rude staff. The absence of a phone in the room, coupled with the ***ager's unwillingness to answer calls or reply to messages, creates an atmosphere of utter helplessness. Furthermore, the inflexible meal timings, despite the hotel's secluded location, leave guests feeling neglected and unsatisfied. You might like the property pictures, but the beautiful location won't make it better when you wouldn't have anything to eat after waking up. My wife had to request them that she has a medical condition and then only they gave us breakfast on one of the days. Please Save yourself the torment and avoid Olive Brook at all costs.
