Had we known we would have heard nothing but noise, walking, and literally everything going on in the room above us, we would have NEVER switched from our original booking we had upstairs! After 10 minutes being in the room, we called the front office BEFORE anything was disturbed and was untouched in the room but were told we couldn’t switch back. We got zero rest during the night because of the constant noise and extremely loud thin cheap floors above us. This stay was completely unacceptable and cannot believe this is what's offered to paying guests without any warning, as if it’s not a known fact that it’s literally a nightmare and no rest will be had. You can hear a pin drop upstairs!
We come to the Hamptons a few times a year from California and thought we’d give staying here a shot. I expect there will be some kind of refund as we did not pay to hear every single step people take and everything they do and we can hear complete conversations as if they’re in our room. It is one o'clock in the morning and we are awake listening to this nonstop walking, talking, dropping things on the floor, and everything else in between! We are exhausted and completely dissatisfied. Livid that we weren't made aware of the noise factor, I doubt we are the only ones who have ever complained about this.
