Beautiful position with rooms looking over the Adriatic. Our room was just a few metres from the sea! Wonderful staff, all of whom were so friendly and professional. Good food. Well located between Bari and Lecce, where there are great opera houses. Recommend most highly.

This special hotel with incredible sea views and all white magical restaurant and grounds. Absolutely love for a quiet getaway and in an off the beaten path location. The rooms are so perfect for a peaceful getaway

Clever photography gives the wrong impression as this place is a little run down. Apart from Saleblu the restaurant. See separate review. It’s a small place, 13 rooms. Nicely situated as overlook the sea one side, pool the other. Rooms are small and very basic. Grossly overpriced. On the plus side, very clean. Nice touch is that each morning breakfast is delivered to you sea view terrace. Huge pool plus three others. Amazing for such a small space. Feels quite stark at the poolside. Weds more furniture and foliage. The place needs son TLC and would be 4/5 Star. Delightful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Genuinely lovely people.

Don’t be fooled by the good photography. This is one of the most overpriced, overhyped hotels I have ever stayed at - and as someone who works in travel, I’ve visited a lot! What could have been glorious, was a serious let down. Pokey, dark, sterile rooms with broken furniture.

Unique location in front of the sea It is one of the few places in Puglia where you can enjoy the sea directly from your room. The breakfast service in the room ‘s terrace in front of the sea are the only two good points of this hotel. The room (560€/night) is oldish with a terrible decoration taste. Specially the furniture, but that is irrelevant in front of the service. The availability to help and do their best is inexistent . We ask for a two hour late check out that was not provided. We stayed in the pool while watching the ladies coming to our room late in the afternoon to clean… I was supposed to be coming at the end of September for a beneficent party in another very famous masseria close from here. I did the reservation in the morning and in the afternoon the party was cancelled because an accident happened to the organizer. I email the hotel to cancel the room, after only 6 hours from the reservation. Instead, they charged my credit card with 100% of the amount. When I called to explain the situation they didn’t accept any excuse form my part but at the end I could manage to change the date and paying 200€ for the upgrade and one person more. Even the restaurant is expensive with Michelin star prices, without the stars. With an standard ambience, quality of food and service. The only thing remarkable is the massage performed at the sister hotel. I won’t be coming back

This is a amazing location , but very isolated, so I would recommend car hire to get around & explore the area. Monopoli is well worth a visit. The hotel is lovely & the rooms are good & this combined with friendly staff. The food in the hotel was amazing, but it is on the more expensive side, so this is worth baring in mind as there is not much else in walking distance of the hotel

Nice hotel near Bari Monopoli Polignano etc and easy drive to Ostuni Matera etc. A bit tired and lacking polish for the price. We had 3 different room types between 3 couples, pool view, sunset and sunrise suites. Definitely the sunrise/sunset suites the better option. The pool area is good and with only 13 rooms you feel like you have it to yourself. The restaurant a bit lacking in choice and lunch options expensive like €25 for a club sandwich. I drove to their partner hotel once to use the fitness area and found staff rude and only cardio equipment. Some rooms have very small showers difficult to even turn around. Breakfast was great out on your balcony. Overall I thought overpriced for the area and our next stop Canne Bianche a MUCH better option - cheaper and much better hotel in a similar area - see separate review if interested.

All though this has potential, it was certainly very expensive, it appeared ready for season closure. The rooms, towels, staff were not up to scratch. Great location, but poor in every other respect. Breakfast was good, but needed to be served on our patio as they had stopped serving buffets. We paid 865 euros per night a rip off. Needs to move off Mr and Mrs Smith Hotels. Furniture was cheap,towels threadbare.

This hotel is good because of the location directly on the seafront and because of the idea, sure it was perfect in the past. Now it is good three stars hotel, do not expect more. The friendly staff seemed embarrassed that there is no internet, no hot water, the room smells bad, the sauna with holes in the walls, the restaurant looks more like a cafe and the catch of the day was clearly not today, but three days ago. It was shabby but was not chic But it is nevertheless the unique place, because of the sea near you room, that you may swim like on Maldives from the door. Because an excellent breakfast on you terras, unforgettable. Because of the brilliant enormous swimming pool. If you agree to pay three time more for it - it is a must to come.
