Check in was seamless and the staff was very nice. However, the bathroom in the room was not cleaned properly. There was pee all underneath the toilet seat. I do like that they provide guests with free water and allowed us to do late check out.

We have stayed here a few times. Hotel is historic and is nice but could use a major update. Tv in sitting area had no signal and safe did not work. Bathroom was small with old tub/toilet and counter top. One of the panels in the bathroom vanity fell off. Staff tries hard but bartenders in lobby bar were busy talking to each other rather than paying attention to customers. Martini should be served in martini glass not margarita glass. It is the small details that set 5 star hotels apart. This hotel I would say is more of a four star. Thinking we will try another hotel next time and hope that they will put some money and training back into this place. Good location.

Staff were gracious and helpful. Room was well-appointed and comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and shower was great. View of lake was spectacular.

The buiding is beautiful!!! Unfortunately, the walls between the rooms are paper thin. I could hear conversations, singing, burps, sneezes and people using the toilet. I felt like I needed to whisper as to not bother people in the rooms next to ours.

Booked this at the last minute. Staff was so very helpful and nice. Although there were a lot of events happening at the hotel you would have had no clue. It was quiet throughout the night. In room food service was fast and decent. Breakfast at cafe had great staff and was also good.

My family and I loved the hotel, it's beautiful. The staff and the attention are excellent. The only thing I didn't like was the cleaning of the bathroom, there was mold in the hand shower, the floor had garbage.

Left the hotel so we could go out to dinner. Returned 2 hours later to a full parking garage sign and a barricade. I paid $40 for parking and only got to use the spot for couple of hours. Went in to ask at the desk what our options were considering we were staying the night and had paid. She said pay parking somewhere else. So a block away, $25 more and pouring rain...... You would think people staying would have a reserved spot. Or they could at least act like they care. It's there parking garage attached to the hotel.
Anyways looked forward to going here for a while now. Place is super cool and has history. But I have stayed at nicer hotels for less money and they cared about their customers.
