The Hashtag 98 Hotel is almost perfect except for one thing. It's loud. It's across from a couple of establishments that play loud music and the hotel adjacent/connected to it is loud. So if you need quiet in order to sleep forget this place, you will not enjoy it. On one hand, the location is ideal for exploring the Provenza/Poblado area. There are a ton of restaurants around it. Choices on where to eat are not lacking at all. The rooms are beautifully appointed and thoughtfully furnished. There are gorgeous picture windows and sky high ceilings. The bed is comfortable. Water pressure is great and toiletries smelled nice. All of this becomes inconsequential however as you initiate the automated black out curtain to get a good night's rest only to be able to hear the constant thud and screeching of music from across the street and from the lobby. The only other thing I didn't like about it was there wasn't a fitness center/gym.
The BINN Hotel was amazing, each member of the staff was attentive, informative and so kind! It was my first time in Medellín. Everyone from the hostess and restaurant staff ( special shoutout to Farid, you were so beautiful and attentive to my mom !!) security running out to offer an umbrella in the rain, front desk giving great local recommendations . We are already planning a return trip !!! 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Excellent hotel. Rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Mini bar/fridge, safe, ironing board, lots of mirrors, large bathroom, 55” tv, very comfortable bed, and good wifi(download speed 16 Mbps). Included buffet breakfast from 6-10:30 is very good. Very close to Metro and Santa Fe mall but a good distance restaurants/bars area (Uber is very cheap however).
Son súper amables , el hotel una pasada! Tiene acceso al centro comercial y tiene vistas a Medellin
La habitación súper espaciosa y de lujo!!! Esta ubicado en una de las mejores zonas de Medellín!
This was my 2nd stay at the York Luxury Suites and it felt like Home once again. First Time I traveled with a Girlfriend for a Girls / Birthday Trip in January 2022. This Time I traveled with my Husband to celebrate our 11th Wedding Anniversary and I cant imagine staying anywhere else. The Staff, the Amenities, and the Rooms are a Medellín Wish come True. Very Modern and Contemporary. They made us feel as part of their Family. You feel Safe and looked out for. During this trip I have to give a shout out to Sra. Claudia, Hotel Manager and Eva at the Front Desk. Wanted to bring them home to the states. They certainly made our stay more memorable. ;) Transportation is very convenient therefore you will not feel like you are missing out on shopping or entertainment. Their Rooftop View is Spectacular and their Restaurant as well. Their Main Restaurant has live music every night and they only hire the best of the best, so much Talent. Can’t wait to return and this time with the whole family. If you are looking for a place to stay in Medellin, this will certainly be your Home away from Home but way more exciting! Because you will be in Medallo! 🇨🇴
ผผู้เข้าพักCheckin process was not smooth with no direct contact. The info of a 24h desk here in trip.com is incorrect, all information will be shared via email / whatsapp. The security guard on shift was very helpful though to check us in. But without being familiar with the processes this took well over 30min. Location and apartment itself great and in close proximity to bars, restaurants and more. All bathrooms clean and showers hot with good water pressure.
AAndrew WFriendly, professional, clean comfortable functional rooms. Great buffet breakfast with fruit vegetables omelettes and awesome simple choices. Oviedo mall next door (connected) has a supermarket and inexpensive food options if you need a quick dinner after a day of hiking or exploring. This is not a luxury hotel but near -luxe and frankly nicer. The staff, from checkin to bar to breakfast was universally charming and pleasant and efficient. The smile and daily good morning while pouring coffee by Luz Ángela literally lightened my heart (not to mention that she remembered how I took my coffee).. There were taxis outside but I preferred Uber, which was super cheap. It's only 10 minutes walk to Aguacatala metro (although Google maps will take you 2 miles out of the way since it doesn't understand overpasses -enter Integración Aguacatala on Google maps NOT the metro and follow the street signs. Four Points is a long walk (or quick Uber) from the nightlife section of El Poblado. Since I don't enjoy being around loud tourists that wasn't an issue for me! That nightlife section reminds me of Westwood in LA or Polanco in CDMX. I had a clean comfortable room on the 9th floor 902 with a lovely view. Not sure if I was upgraded as a Marriott gold, but it was good. AC worked fine. If I ever stay in El Poblado again, 4 Points would be my first choice.
This chic and gorgeous boutique hotel with a pool and café/restaurant & bar was the perfect combination of things we needed during our stay in Medellin. It is located in an area known as Patio Bonito which is just a hop, skip and a jump away from the well-known El Poblado and Manila areas. We prefer to stay in the Patio Bonito area for its uniqueness in being close enough to the beautiful chaos but with the added bonus of being in a serene neighborhood. I guess I could be called a seasoned traveler but I hadn’t written a review for a long while but we frequent Medellin and this place deserves a shout-out as it stands out amongst the rest! In all my accommodation experiences Antipoda Hotel surpasses expectations in terms of the aforementioned and additionally in the quality of bedding, shower designs and water pressure, -cleanliness and warm service. The hotel itself doesn't have a lot of rooms (maybe 8-10) and is neatly tucked away like a hidden gem. Last but not least, I search high and low for good food and coffee and lo and behold this place met and exceeded my expectations! It’s no surprise that they had good coffee I suppose but the menu was obviously well thought-out and designed for a unique experience with a modern twist of local and foreign flavors and each dish was definitely IG worthy in presentation. There were beers and finely presented cocktails as well, which we really enjoyed. We were seeing people in the café/restaurant & bar who were not staying at the hotel and it turns out that it is open to non-hotel customers as well.
The worst experience that I had with this hotel is that they overcharged my by 1,280.000 pesos and then when I alerted them to the fact, they refused to help me. This is quite a serious abuse and part of a lack of organisation and of ethics by the hotel management. The staff in the hotel in general were rude and unhelpful. I paid 320,000 pesos per room per night plus the 1,280.000 that they overcharged me and my family and I think that overall, it is better to try one of the many other hotels around that area rather than suffer the inconvenience of dealing with the people in this hotel.
They claim to speak English but not a word or it. I arrived at the hotel at 9:00pm after a All day flight, they gave me a room with NO WINDOWS and a broken air conditioning ( but they don't speak English and I don't speak spanish to explain to them ) People screaming in the hallways non stop until 4:30 am. No respect at ALL for others. Located in a verry verry loud street with a lot or creaps roaming around ( so don't expect to feel safe if you're a sole traveler or travel with kids! Beds feels like you're sleeping on the floor with a blanket under you. Rooms are super clean, and the front desk is guarded but that's the only positive point I found. I don't know how im gonna be able to stay here for the entire 8 nights stay I booked, if I don't get a refund. If you are here to party and plan to get drunk and don't care about bothering poeple when you get to you room at 4am .. .then this is the spot for you!
