Tropical Attitude,

Great service from the staff. They made our anniversary extra special for us. We were just a bit disappointed with the food, we mostly ate out at other restaurants when we stayed here. I'd highly recommend a stay in the villa. Unfortunately, the beach side is only good to look at and not good to get into.

Have just returned from Tropical which was a special trip to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary, which the hotel helped us celebrate in style with a special menu and decorated table. The first and most important thing I would like to say is a huge thank you to Karen and Chantika who were extremely patient and understanding when my husband asked the same questions on many occasions due to his dementia. Their general caring attitude is to be highly recognised and appreciated. We did have a few issues having decided to upgrade to All Inclusive, in the bar and restaurant, even 6/7 days in we were still being asked to sign for paid food and drinks. Our room was as expected but with a few housekeeping issues to bring to the attention of the management. The first thing I noticed was the dirty/sticky marks on our door. This could easily have been cleaned off but had been left, not a good first impression. We then discovered (as mentioned in other reviews) the wall in our bathroom was covered in black mould, not a nice thing to see. Finally a bit more attention to cleaning detail would help, the shelf where the tv stood was covered in black dust and not always cleaned. All other areas are kept spotlessly clean, especially the pool/bar and restaurant. There were usually sun beds to be had but when the boat to Il aux Cerf didn’t run due to the weather there was a shortage. Lovely to not have to worry about beach towels, which you can even take on outside trips and can be changed twice a day. Sadly the weather wasn’t that kind on a few days so we went exploring. We took a taxi to Port Louis, we started at the market, then went onto the mall, then off to the botanical gardens. The taxi waits for you at each destination snd you don’t pay until you get back to the hotel. We were out for 5 hours at a cost of RM3,500 about £62.00. Two highly recommended trips would be the leisurely Catamaran Cruise s and the more adventurous 5 Island Speedboat Tour. Restaurant wise try Koh Nom, the food was amazing. Outside of Tropical definitely visit Green Island, great, reasonably priced food and lovely friendly staff. Overall we had a great holiday. I've been visiting Tropical Attitude for some time now – this was my fifth stay in just two years. It's become my go-to destination for peace and quiet. The staff here make it feel like a second home. Every time I arrive, Karen and the team at the front desk greet me like an old friend. Their warm smiles instantly make me feel welcome. Karen is always ready to assist, and Cristie and Aurelie are just as approachable and friendly. At 'La Boutik', Zaheen is incredibly sweet and welcoming. She truly makes you feel like you belong. The dining experience at Tropical Attitude is exceptional. Arvin consistently checks in to ensure everything is perfect. His genuine care for guests' satisfaction is evident. Adesh persuaded me to try the Mauritian cuisine at 'Kot Nou', and it was an unforgettable experience. His dedication to creating a remarkable dining atmosphere is clear in every detail. Adarsh is another standout staff member. He's always available to help and answer any questions. Seevangee handles everything with such calmness and friendliness; she's a true professional. Then there's Raj at the bar, who crafts fantastic cocktails and is always up for a friendly chat. The managing director and Ilshad, are incredibly welcoming as well. They consistently go out of their way to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay. Overall, Tropical Attitude continues to impress me. It's more than just a hotel – it's a place where you truly feel part of the family. I can't wait to return again soon.

Boutique hotel. Adults only. It is 3*+. So nothing fancy. But rooms clean. Good shower. Very comfy bed. Fridge and kettle in rooms. On-site shop to provide you with tea, coffee etc. The hotel is very focussed on being ecological. Only use what you need to less waste. To be applauded. The staff here cannot do enough to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Amazing food in buffet restaurant,Kot Nou and Taba J. Entertainment was varied and in the main, very good. Thank you to Vikash, sous chef. Ram, Christopher and Sunil in the restaurant and the amazing bar staff who kept smiling through the ever changing weather. Fantastic. Would highly recommend

So tucked in the corner of east Mauritius is the Tropical Attitude Hotel ( Adults Only ) So if you want to chillout, be treated as the only guest and have a small community of attentive staff then GO HERE. From you check in with the amazing Karen or Cristel. You are welcomed to the hotel as the one and only guest. We arrived late due to a delayed flight and lunch was just closing down, they insisted that checkin could wait and took us to the resturant for a bite to eat and a cold drink. Afterwards we checked in and we were taken to our villa ( told to leave bags and they promptly arrived ) I would recommend a Villa if you can get one, with plunge pool, air-conditioning, a massive shower etc. Each day you can visit the Laboutik and collect 2 bottles of water and some other drinks or snacks if you are all inclusive or one for all package. Breakfast is buffet style dinner is buffet style with changes each night from mauritian choices to pasta and occasionally chips. Lunch is a la carte style with Burgers, Toasted sandwiches and pizzas to name a few. The bar is cover most local drinks ( in good quantity servings ) and again covered on a All Inclusive package ( branded is extra but who cares after a couple of mojitos ) The Poz Spa is available for all beauty treatments and is added to you bill. ( this is a card and cash free site all added to you final bill for any extras )One thing is the environmental attitude( parden the pun) and all of the Attitude Hotels follow the same mantra , no plastic bottles here ( they can give you a water bottle on arrival for you stay with 2 water fountains one 1 in the bar area and 1 in the gym area if you want ) no plastic bags, and a strong respect to the environment is followed. Overall this was an amazing hotel with a great vibe and some amazing staff, shout outs to Karen, Cristel, Kamini, Zaheen and the other reception customer care staff , the whole Waiting and Bar Staff, even the gardener. Too many names to remember but all acknowledged us with a smile and a good Morning and Afternoon everyday Rain or Shine Highly Recommend and it is long trip for us from the UK but one day we may return and will seriously consider the Attitude family again for our stay.

This is amazing cozy hotel . Delightful relaxing atmosphere. Incredibly delicious food, special thanks to the chef Vikash who took care of all my taste preferences. He is very attentive and provides top notch service. Also many thanks to Karen for the detailed information. This is a very hospitable hotel, which is not found in every country. The bartender and all the waiters are very positive. They also provide boats to go to the beach on the island nearby for snorkeling. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel

We stayed for a week in this beautiful and calm hotel in the east coast of Mauritius. One thing that is remarkable is the food. Everything here are so tasty and delicious. There are two restaurants where you can dine. Bon Lamer restaurant which is the main restaurant also for breakfast and lunch and Kot Nou which has more traditional Mauritian cousin. The sous chef of the Kot Nou, Vikash, cooks amazing and it's definitely recommend to enjoy his cooking abilities. The rooms are located very close to the sea and you have a good view to the sea among the palm trees. All in all, it's a very good option for accommodation in Mauritius.
