Riad Sable Chaud

Fatima has not only a big heart, she also serves delicious breakfast and meals. Together with Zaida they make this place a lovely Riad to stay. Momo organized our Trips really well. Thanks for being so caring with us and making sure, we have a relaxing time.

Want to have the best Moroccan experience with family, stay here. Absolutely amazing, Fatima made the most wonderful breakfast for us each day. All the staff went over and above and nothing was an issue. Stayed with family, 4 of us in the room. Clean, spacious and gives you the best Moroccan experience. Rooftop is an added bonus to relax. Amazing neighbourhood you will come back with lots of friends in Morocco. I am already planning the next trip and could not recommend it enough. Mum was always up for helping about exertions and dinner in the evening. Location is wonderful. Everything is so readily available So I have to get out and local market is open till early hours of the morning restaurants, restaurants, shops, and walking distance to all the immunities, Saida was very sweet and made sure we had everything in the rooms available without ever asking for it. Truly a wonderful experience in Morocco and staying here made it hundred times better.

I and my wife really enjoyed our stay at Riad Sable Chaud. I wanted to go for something more traditional than a hotel, and staying at this Riad was definitely what I wanted. The room was tidy when we arrived and the working assistant made sure it was kept spotless. The staff at the Riad were amazing, especially the sister who cleaned up the rooms. The breakfast and mint tea was a nice touch too, however, we did not eat lunch or dinner at the Riad so I cannot comment on that. The showers had hot water which was great. The location is good too, a 20-minute (ish) walk and you can get to Koutobia, Jemaa el Frna, Souks, etc.

very clean place thanks to the two women who work there, very helpful and kind. really nice. Unlike Momo, the gentleman who welcomed us on the first day was helpful, kind and in the following days we had a mix-up for arrangements made for excursions and from that moment on he was very grumpy towards us. he didn't even say hello to us when we left, and we waited 30 minutes for the taxi to go back to the airport. very clean place, everything perfect, except for the behavior of Momo.

We stayed at the riad for 1 week. The place is very peaceful, far away from the mess of marrakech. But still walking distance to Jeema el fna and the main attractions. We needed a relaxing and quiet place and we found it. Only thing we heard it was the birds, of the garden! The place is very Moroccan style and the host, momo, he will make you feel the real Moroccan atmosphere. With beautiful tea and amazing food! Definitely to try. The cleaning lady ( she wears glasses) I don't know her name, was top class. She was very sweet, our room was spotless, and every day she left a different detail ( a rose, for example) which we found so kind and when we left she gave us a small gift. We didn't speak, as we have no French or Arabic but we felt very spoiled all the time. In front of the riad there is a bakery, real Moroccan making bread. They are very nice and they showed us their place and how they make the bread. Lovely people! For breakfast momo gave us every day a different kind of pastry so we got to try different things. The only problem is internet, it's very slow and it's really annoying, if you need it do not rely on it. There is a lovely terrace , you can stay on sunbeds or have a meal, see the sunset. Also there is a very small pool which we did not use. I cried already the day before to leave and also the day we left, I will miss the place. Thanks Riad sable chaud! Laura and Gavin

Prós: - As senhoras da cozinha e da limpeza eram adoráveis! Inclusivamente, a senhora da limpeza (que não me lembro do nome) deu-nos umas pequenas lembranças. Muito querida mesmo! O senhor que nos atendeu inicialmente também era simpático. - Riad super silencioso de noite, situado numa zona calma, onde apenas passam motas e fica a uns 20 minutos da Praça Jemaa El Fna. O nosso quarto era o "quarto duplo superior" não tinha janelas para a rua, apenas uma para dentro do Riad. - Ótimo wifi no quarto. - Bom AC. - Os sofás no terraço eram agradáveis. Contras: - Enviei email para o Riad para confirmar a reserva, uma vez que fiz a reserva pela Trip.com, e nunca me responderam até chegar lá no dia. - O senhor (penso chamar-se Momo) parecia bastante simpático, mas revelou-se um autêntico interesseiro quando nos quis vender as tours/excursões através dele. O único interesse era vender! A forma e as caras que fazia quando mentia denunciou-o completamente! Sim, ele mentiu várias e nós detestamos ser enganados! Primeiro tentou vender-nos os preços absurdos deles, depois quando baixou fez-nos acreditar que ficou sem comissão. Disse que os portugueses e espanhóis têm pouco dinheiro e os de outros países pagavam os preços de tabela sem dizer nada! Mesmo assim ficavam de longe mais caras do que no Get Your Guide e afins. Passou então para desculpa que esses não eram bons! Depois já era que os comentários bons eram comprados! Mas o dele não!! Nas atividades dele vinham à porta do Riad buscar-nos, nas dos outros não. Se não reservássemos com eles, não tínhamos direito ao pequeno-almoço, pois saíamos cedo e tínhamos que ainda ir a um ponto de encontro fora do Riad. O dele começava no Riad. Uma grande mentira! Nem no dele nos foram buscar ao Riad e ainda esperámos tempo sem fim pelo motorista. Cancelámos a segunda atividade com ele e claramente ficou chateado, nem se interessou em nos perguntar se correu tudo bem na atividade vendida por ele! Coincidência ou não, a da internet correu bem e no fim tiveram essa atenção. Portanto, esse senhor foi demasiado intrusivo, interesseiro e venceu-nos pelo cansaço com uma atividade que reservámos com ele (ainda bem que foi só uma, ele queria vender-nos 3!) - Pequeno-almoço fraco e com pouca quantidade, tivemos que pedir sempre mais. Para além de que, a comida era toda aquecida, inclusivamente o pão! - O chá não era grande coisa. - Piscina lá dentro não tinha água com boa cor. Piscina no terraço é um engodo pelas fotos, parece uma pequena fonte…e sem água! Simplesmente não serve para nada!
