1. Nice, modern property not too far from the Central Business District in a secure location and with most facilities and services one expects from a modern hotel. The shower and workspace in the room stood out for me. 2. Decent food served here and also a few other good restaurants in the vicinity (walking distance). 3. Clean - for me this is a deal breaker and I never really felt uncomfortable that the hotel was not clean. 4. For the most part, I encountered amazing, multilingual staff members. Mozambicans are one of the most hospitable people I know. 1. Some disappointing features for a top hotel like non-steady bed made me feel like this hotel needs some TLC to stay as a top hotel. 2. Select aspects of customer service - I am not sure if it was language barrier, or cultural differences or system limitations but on separate occasions I had an experience that made me question (fairly or unfairly) the honesty of some of the hotel staff. Up to today I don’t know if I was enrolled on the Rewards Programme as I had asked, there was a lady who (fairly or unfairly) had to throw a tantrum to get help and my colleague also made comments that I feel impact customer experience.
