We booked a ten night stay at The Ikaros Beach Hotel Resort as it looked so nice. The hotel is ok. The food is good and the room ok. We booked a luxury sea view bungalow! This should have been described as a partial sea view! There are areas in the room that also need decorating. Three nights into our stay and the Nespresso coffee pods stopped being replenished. We left the hotel to spend three nights away in Chania which was an absolute delight. When we arrived back at Ikaros to find the beds had folded sheets at the base which needed making and still no coffee pods in the room. It was 40 degrees outside so decided to stay in the room and watch Netflix on the tv as the only channels were German. This function did not work. When I called reception they hung up and when I called straight back asking for someone to show us how to use the tv and also bring coffee pods I was told straight away…. Last time we came to Crete we stayed at The Domes Of Elounda which for anyone reading this I can’t recommend enough. They go out of their way to accommodate their guests. Unfortunately I can’t say the same thing about Ikaros Beach. I’m still waiting for reception to send someone to our room! Not good service Ikaros Beach!

Excellent location one step from the beach front. The room was a dream, with a private balcony offering breathtaking views of the Cretan sea. The attention to detail in the decor and the comfort of the bed made it a perfect sanctuary for relaxation. A small garden pathway on the beach is just amazing. The hotel is located at the central beach road . Huge swimming pool with a pool bar, sun beds facing the Cretan sea a front of us. Very clean areas everywhere in the hotel. Great entertainment services almost every night. The true highlight entertainment night of our stay was the DJ Disco Night. As the sun set, the beats rose, and the hotel transformed into a dance pool of rhythm and dance. The DJ, there wow….just a maestro of melodies,. Modern hits fused with timeless classics created an atmosphere of pure joy and celebration even though that there were some older guests around of us. The night was something to remember for us, a testament to the hotel’s commitment to providing not just a stay, but an experience. Friendly staff helping us during our stay. A must stay to forget your problems and relax for ever.

It is a 5 star holiday resort, Hotel team very friendly and care with patience their guests, rooms are perfectly decorated and well designed, easy to access, Room clean is excellent, Open buffet breakfast is excellent, sea side and the beach is very convenient for swimming

My mum and I received the most exhilarating massage and treatments.Katerina and Rania were so lovely and professional .Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.10/10.The facilities were clean and the staff was very friendly.

The experience was incredible. My partner had a Cretan massage and I had a facial treatment provided by Eftinia and we were both very relaxed. We also were very grateful for the front team, especiay Marianna, who had been very lovely and helpful during our stay, helping us find the right treatments and explaining what was on offer and the best deals available at the spa. Would definitely recommend and can see myself coming back again in a future visit!

We had a wonderful stay at Ikaros ☀️ Amnities, pools, view, gardens, restaurants and staff are perfect. A big thank you to Alba and Paula, always smiling and full of energy during Aqua Gym classes every day 🙏 Without forgetting services provided by the Gests Relation lady (unfortunatly we don't have her name) always checking on us and making our stay magical ! 🙏 Thanks you !

The massage was so good with Eftikia, Katherine, and Vasi! Such friendly staff was worth every minute! I loved whole resort! It was amazing! I would so come again! The hotel and spa staff was so kind and generous, they made our stay! I've never felt so relaxed! X

A gem of a resort! Fabulous Seaview room - exceptionally cleaned daily by lovely & friendly Katarina! All the staff were so friendly & helpful especially the food servers Antonis & Eva. My husband & I loved the entire Aegeo Spa team! Katarina manager was knowledgeable & very helpful. Panos is an amazing therapist! A complete oasis of relaxation in a very beautiful & quiet setting with well laid out properties amongst well planted natural vegetation. There wasn’t a bad view! The hotel guests were of varying ages & considerate. Food was very good quality & presented well in the different restaurants. We enjoyed the variety of bars with different atmospheres. The 4 good sized pools had very comfortable sun loungers, however they were on the chilly side at this time of the year. The beach area was good & the sea was good for swimming. Cats! They were clean & friendly. Your decision to adopt adults only was very much appreciated by giving us the most relaxed & pleasant experience. I can highly recommend this hotel to adult guests.

A perfect place for relaxation with beautiful surroundings. From the moment we arrived late at night, we were welcomed & looked after with consideration. Our sea view room was spacious & comfortable. The food was very good. The Spa was fab.
