"I used to ignore those play areas at hotels, thinking it was silly for hotels to have them until i became a mom and badly needed a designated space for my child to play. It was clean, safe, bright and colorful. Play areas attendants were kind enough to turn off the screen upon request since my child was alone when we went there."
"Manila Hotel is a legendary hotel that has been in existent for more than hundred years. The ambiance, lobby, rooms and even, the staff’s uniform truly imbibe history and the Philippine culture. The rooms are spacious and overlooking the Manila Bay. Nice to see the sunset from the hotel room. Food is in abundance. Appreciate highly if they could have the single beds replaced with double beds. It’s quite small compared with other hotels. ❤️ Overall, it’s a great stay."
"Had a great stay at Acacia Hotel Manila. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. Everyone was accommodating and professional.
The location is also convenient and accessible. The amenities were decent, although some of the areas featured online, like the Treetop Lounge, (no any other nice views from higher floors) were unavailable during our visit, which we were looking forward to experiencing. The pool area was relaxing and clean, though a bit more simple and quiet than expected. Views are also limited mostly to the inside/room surroundings rather than city scenery.
Overall, still a pleasant and comfortable stay with outstanding hospitality."
"We've been staying in Quest (Crimson) every time there's an occasion but this is the first time we had some concerns.
First, 1 out of 4 rooms we booked became available around 5pm. It was a hassle because 5 people were stuck in a room waiting for the availability, we wanted to rest but we couldn't because there was only 1 bed.
Second, there are guests who play roughly in the pool and the life guards will just look at them. There are occasional whistles they do but it didn't work. A lot of kids just opt to swim in the adult part because the other guests were uncontrollable.
Third, towels and bathrobes took hours before being delivered. One of our family members even slipped in the bathroom because there are no floor mats available after calling them numerous times."
"This is a classic hotel, well located, full service (though a little slow at times) and it was very busy when we were there at Chinese New Year. The staff are friendly and helpful. This room was small but comfortable. Breakfast is fabulous but be careful of the queues (as well as when checking in and out). The gym is well stocked and the pool area is pleasant although the pool is a little small. The food is good all round. It is conveniently located next to the giant malls of Makati where there is plenty to eat and shop! I enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The lobby is lovely."
