I stayed at the COMO for a week in may 2024. If you’re looking for a centrally located wonderful boutique hotel in London. This is the one. The staff here is nothing short of fabulous. Ginny, Alex and Lonny took care of all my needs almost before I knew what I needed. I have never had such a great experience with the concierges at any hotel I’ve stayed in. I’m a pretty independent traveler but having their help made my trip so much better. They gave me play recommendations and got me tickets to sold out events (the Royal Ballet’s Swan Lake and a big premier soccer game). They Helped me with transportation and the Tube’s local secrets for getting around London. They also suggested restaurants and fun things to do in the areas I was exploring that day. When I injured my foot and it was bruised and swollen. They brought me ice up to my room to help with the swelling!! When my train to the cotswolds got cancelled, they helped me reroute my trip to Amsterdam and helped me with reservations to the museums and the Ann Frank house. Besides the stellar help that I received, the hotel was beautiful. My bed was comfortable and the room was big and the bathroom was so nice. The hotel had 2 restaurants and I loved the breakfast they had and I ate there most mornings before I headed out for the day. I also ordered room service when I hadn’t eaten and was heading out to a play or ballet that night. The food was yummy and I found myself just wanting to eat at the Hotel. They do offer an afternoon tea that I didn’t get to try but I’m sure it was delicious!! It was also so nice as a solo traveler that they were always at the desk and greeted me as I came and went. I felt like they were looking out for me and that gave me peace of mind. Next time I go to London I will not stay anywhere else. Thank You Como for the wonderful stay.
