On arrival the receptionist was very helpful, Room was clean , beds comfortable ,we found the room very warm and was unable to open the window room 311, not a very view from this room. Hotel was full so unable to get another room . We had evening meal in the restaurant .food was excellent,and our waiter was very helpful. We had breakfast the following morning, but found that the bacon and black pudding was overdone as was the fried egg. But we should of waited for the Fresh cooked food to come out of the kitchen. Idid mention this to the waitress. Breakfast was the only downside to our stay

Can’t fault our stay, had a nice, clean and comfortable room, and for the price we paid it was excellent value. My only issue was that our room overlooked the car park and bins. That wasn’t a problem in itself as it was the standard of room we had booked. However, come about 1am the noise was awful, sounded as though Staff were clearing up and talking, bins opening and closing etc. In future I would certainly book a different standard of room. Otherwise, a lovely hotel.

Really lovely hotel. Fantastic your man on reception when we arrived on Sat at 6.00pm. Service at breakfast is only failing I have with the hotel . Other than that fantastic

Food: excellent.
Creaky floorboards woke my husband when I used the bathroom during the night.
Soap/shampoo containers sited where they couldn’t be reached.
Internal decoration needed.
All staff excellent.

We went for valentine's night and the room was perfect, lovely and clean and the bed was very comfortable, bathroom was spotless.
Breakfast was beautiful.
All the staff were friendly and always has a smile, we will definitely stay again x

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely two-night stay here at St George's Hotel. The staff are really welcoming and helpful with nothing being too much trouble. Our room was warm, spacious including a large en-suite with bath and shower. We dined in the restaurant and the food was at a high standard, enjoying a four-course meal. Breakfast was included in our stay, with a large variety to choose from, including a cooked breakfast or continental, served with any drink you want from tea and coffee to juices of your choice. Staff are always on hand to help assist you with any need you may have. I highly recommend staying at the St George's Hotel.
